In SL, there are 2 types of receipts that you a customer and we a shop need , to support you as usual.

1. When you’ve bought something in Marketplace onWeb,
its receipt is the so-called “invoice” or “order” linked here.

2. When you’ve bought something in an inworld shop,
its receipt is the so-called “transaction history” linked here.

*) First, log-into the web-site. Because the both URLs show your personal records to only yourself, never to public.

We’d like you to copy&paste us the right type of reciepts, so that we can smoother support if you need.

お見舞いや心配してくれるIMなど頂いているようで、、本当にありがとうございます
SLについてはPCが復活次第（来週中を目標に）対応していきたいと思っています
店舗も改装中で見苦しい状態ですが活発な活動については控えたいと思っています

東日本大震災で,,,
亡くなられた方々に　謹んでお悔やみ申し上げます
安否のわからない方々のご無事を心から祈っています
地震、津波、原子炉と、、壮絶な光景をテレビで見ています
被害が拡大しないようただ祈るばかりです

僕も毎日数度来る地震と計画停電で生活もだいぶ混乱してきてますが
大事な人や家族や友達が居てくれるというだけで頑張れます
必死に守っていきたいです　まずはどーにか仕事にいかなきゃ。。

Thank you very much for the many messages of sympathy and concern you have been sending me inworld. I'm sorry I haven't been able to respond, since I haven't been able to log in so far, but I have been able to read some of your IMs that have been forwarded to my e-mail address. Let me use this opportunity to report to you that, as for myself, I am safe and well. And apologies as well as to the mess I left behind at the store when my construction work was abruptly stopped when the earthquake struck.
My SL-capable computer is down for the time being, but I hope to have it back up sometime within the next week or so. But I'm planning to go slow for a while, considering the power shortage in the disaster regions, and also because of the scheduled daily blackouts that are expected to continue into April.

My heart grieves for the many victims of the East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, and for survivors who have lost their homes and their loved ones. I am just hoping for the safe return of the tens of thousands of souls who are still unaccounted for, one week after the disaster, and praying that the extent of the damage wouldn't expand much further.

I am still reeling from all the apocalyptic images that are being broadcast continuously out of the worst disaster zone. The earthquake. The tsunami. And crisis at the nuclear power plant. Although there were no major damages in the greater Tokyo area where I live, our daily lives here are still greatly affected. Through the course of the day, we are still unnerved by many major size aftershocks. The scheduled daily power outages are proving to be very disruptive, shutting down everything, including businesses and public transportation.
But I ought to consider myself very fortunate that I still have my family, my friends and my love all close to me, supporting each other, and caring about each other. That's all I need to keep me going. And so, here I am, trying all I can to protect this great blessing.
But in the mean time, how am I going to get to work today anyway?

A few footnotes by Megg:

It's been a week since the M9.0 earthquake and tsunami in Northeastern Japan, but I'm also having a hard time trying to cope with the scope of this disaster. When the earthquake struck, I was working at home, just south of Tokyo, well over 300 kilometers away from the epicenter. Even at that distance, I immediately knew it was the biggest quake I've experienced in my life (everyone I had talked to since then thought likewise, and we've been through a lot of huge quakes here in Eastern Japan). The ground kept moving for about three minutes, as if it was riding the waves out at sea. Within the first minute, I was absolutely convinced that this was going to be the end, and felt strangely resigned and at peace. As the shaking subsided, I realized that our home hadn't collapsed on me, and there wasn't any real damage. I turned on the TV, and watched the first half hour of relatively calm news coverage - the epicenter was far north of me, although I could easily imagine that the shaking was a lot worse there. But the first images in from the north showed city centers and residential areas pretty much intact and undamaged. At the time, I felt relieved that we were prepared for the worst earthquakes in Japan. Unlike Western Japan who hadn't experienced any major quakes for centuries until the Kobe Quake, the Tokyo area lost over 140,000 lives in the M7.9 Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, and has been building earthquake-resistent ever since, and reinforcing everything even more after Kobe. The tsunami alerts were out, on TV as well as on the neighborhood Disaster PA System, with the nation's extensive tsunami monitoring system giving us updated predictions on when the water was going to hit the coasts. But that wasn't too much of a concern either, because we were supposed to be prepared for that too. Around the beachside suburban town where I live, tsunami killed thousands in the 1923 Disaster, so the waterfront is now protected by a 10 meter high levy. Near the epicenter, the northeastern seaboard, experiencing numerous monster tsunamis over the centuries, had even better protection, boasting some of the world's most massive tide barriers. We were going to survive this, or so we thought.

.... but then, the horrendous reality from the northern cossts. Those sturdy barriers broken through by waters far beyond the magnitude that anyone could ever even imagine possible. Homes and buildings that survived the 9.0 quake being washed away like matchboxes. I'm sure you have all seen the footages....

As of Saturday, March 19, the death toll is over 7,500, which only includes only the officially identified victims. The number of missing exceeds 10,000, which again only includes those who have been officially reported missing by family members. Tens of thousands more are still only listed as "unaccounted for" - the heart-wrenching realization that many of them probably have no family members or friends surviving the disaster to report them as missing.... Entire cities wiped out. More than 400,000 displaced in emergency shelters, and many more who are still stranded somewhere among the rubble, waiting to be found.

Then, there's the nuclear power plant... Fear of radioactive fallout, or even a meltdown.... Risey makes references to the inconveniences we are suffering in the greater Tokyo area since all the nuclear plants in the region are currently shut down. All the neighborhoods receiving power from Tokyo Electric are assigned to one of five groups spread across the region, and each group is blacked out in turn for three hours. It's surreal. When the power goes out, shops and offices have to close down. Traffic lights are out. Commuter train lines and subways that we depend on so much getting around the Tokyo region stop - even if the trains are running on independent power sources, the railroad crossing gates aren't working and the subway lighting is out, so the trains have to stop for obvious safety reasons. The result is that, unless you carefully map out your route and confirm when the trains you want to ride are running, you risk not being able to get to work before the day is out - or as it happened to millions on the first day, not being able to come home from work before the start of the next work day. Take the car out to work? Yeah, a lot of people thought of that, so they pumped the gas stations dry, only to be stuck all day in what might have seemed like permanent jams. And thus, Risey's concern - how am I going to find my way to work anyway.... But then, we all know that's probably among the least of our worries in Tokyo right now.

There is also the big, unspoken fear. We all know the drill, literally, in Japan, and we know that calm is of paramount importance in face of natural disasters, so we don't want to voice it for fear of creating mass panic. But among the many big aftershocks we're experiencing in Tokyo, not all are coming from the area of the March 11 epicenter to the north. They're coming from the west, around the vicinity of Mt.Fuji. NO, Fuji is NOT about to erupt - magma build up is being closely monitored by multiple agencies, and there's nothing indicating such. It's that the area is the western boundary of the tectonic plate who's eastern border was the location of the March 11 epicenter. USGS satellites showed that the plate had shifted at least 2.5 meters immediately after the quake, and later calculations of data from local monitoring stations show that it had actually moved more than 5 meters, and sunk by more than 2 meters.... Scary.... I'm just hoping that the slack will be taken out in a series of reasonable magnitude tremors.... But if it hits in one big load anywhere near the metropolitan population....
AGAIN, I am not trying to dissipate unfounded rumors. I'm just talking about the kind of anxiety or subconscious phobia that many of us are feeling right now.

Well. On the up side :) despite the many hardships, we seem to be bounding back remarkably fast from the disaster. Of course, tremendous hardships and sorrow are certain to continue for the millions in the Northeast. But the bullet trains are running, and the planes are flying again. Despite the power outages, manufacturing plants around Tokyo are already running with increased output to supply relief efforts in the north. Although not many, but every day, a lot more of the missing are being safely reunited with their loved ones. Communities throughout Japan are beginning to warmly take in entire communities of the displaced, or otherwise pitching in full force in the relief effort.

And what I find so encouraging and heartening, is that we have so many friends across the world. The Koreans were first to arrive with their rescue and relief teams. US armed forces in Japan were already at work immediately after the earthquake, followed by large contingents of Americanb civilian rescue and relief teams who are still at work in the afflicted areas. China also has a full-scale relief team in Miyagi, and continues to ship in loads of relief supplies. Great Britain, New Zealand, Taiwan, Russia, France, all have people on the still hazard-strewn ground. I'm sorry if I've failed to mention any of your countries who have extended truly needed and sincerely appreciated help to Japan. Across the world, people are giving so generously. One television marathon in Korea alone collected over $4million from viewers in just a few hours. I can say for sure that news like that is met with heartfelt gratitude by those in the disaster region. And at a time like this, it is so good to know you have friends that you can depend on.

Now, what's with all these group notices I keep getting of new lingerie releases? ...oh, it's St.Valentines! So, I'm off to my studio, prepping for the inevitable Valentine's Lingerie Special shoot, complete with the complementary champaigne bath shoots - as though I haven't been in lingerie for every post so far this year, LOL

THEN, the news! Risey has been so encouraged by all the flattering review comments everybody is writing for the Winter Survivor in SL Marketplace, that he's decided to throw in a little extra in the Thank You gift package he's sending out to you on the 20th =^.^= And, that "little" extra is going to be any thing but little. It's going to be a big secret, let's just say my first reaction was OMG are you out of your mind?! Well, it's going to be VERY special - you will not be disappointed =D

Besides, it turns out that the final version of the Winter Survivor turned out to be a LOT easier to fit for girls. Risey wanted to put in the bit about "compromises for female avatars" but that proved to be minimal.

更に　当初１８０センチ以上あれば女の子もどうにか着れるかもって弱気なことPOPにまで書いちゃってましたが、いろいろ試着してみたら、これってUNISEXでも充分いけるんじゃないのってほど、女の子にもぴったり＾－＾　ということで、ランジェリ特集は後回しで、女の子のWinterSurvivorフィッティングをちょろっとご紹介に、メグ様本店へ急行！いけてない系めがねっ子でもいけちゃうウィンターサバイバーを御披露！（いけてる子の例はPelinPaelusさんなどほかのブログでｗ）
And so, off I'm headed for the :sey Main Store to demonstrate how easy it is - even for the nerdiest girl in class to look great in the Winter Survivor, he;P (If you want to see how it looks on cool girls, check out blogs by Pelin Paelus et al ^^b)

Here, I'm wearing the Gray jacket layer with the Azuki prims to show how the prim parts work in very well with the clothing layer. Straight out of the package, the bottom prim looked huge on my avie. But all I had to do was to reduce the size all the way down 25%. Keep the hem tight and close.

プリムとレイヤがぴったしマッチングの様子をお見せるために、あえてグレーのレイヤにアズキのプリムにしてます。

まず箱から取り出してボトムのプリムを女の子が着てみると、でけー！！！と思われるかもしれません。でも、このデザインは男性でもタイトめにフィット。目一杯２５縮小しちゃいます！

For girls, my trick is to wear the bottom prim as high up the waist as possible. That way the prim clears the hip, and keeps everything under control even with a wiggly AO like what I'm using. Of course, as you can see here, it's not perfectly seamless, but it goes askew only so even with my back arched back this much - good en9ugh for me^^

あたしの場合、レイヤが隠れるギリギリまで、なるべく高い位置にボトムプリムを持ち上げてます。こうすると、ヒップにかからなくて、あたしのような超クネクネ系AOでも大丈夫。これが出きるのが、このデザインのツボじゃないかなって＾＾　もちろんクネクネと右のように背中を目一杯そらせたりすれば少々ズレはでますが、このくらいなら、わたし的には充分許容範囲＾＾ｂ

To sum up, for me, it's all in the bottom prim. I've tried changing attachment points, rotating, and such, but the default seems to work best - just scale down as far as possible and lift up as far.

結局ポイントはボトムのプリム。できるだけ縮小して持ち上げるだけ。装着ポイントを変えてみたり、回転したり、いろいろやってみたけど、デフォのままがベストのようです＾＾

New Release! Winter Survivor

HiHi! Here's our first new release in a long while, a winter jacket appropriately named Winter Survivor, and matching shirt. It's a mens' design, but girls should be able to fit with a little effort, and if you're over 5'10" or so.
This is the kind of jacket I've been looking for this Winter in real life. And yes, IT IS COLD!DAMMIT!LOL in Japan, too, and snowing these couple of days. So, I got fur lining on the jacket, but I wanted fake fur for this, with that bristly kind of feel. Came out pretty well :D and I'm happier still that no furries have been sacrificed in the manufacture of this product ;P
The shirt, sold separately, is a remake of our popular Roll Up Shirt. But with this variant, I included an extra collar prim sculpted to be worn with the jacket collar.

Well. the Pack just won the Super Bowl.

For a few days now, it's officially Bunny Year, lunarwise as well as Gregorianwise =^.^=

And, for the past week already, I'm on the Firestorm Preview Viewer - the next generation Phoenix Viewer based on the LL's Snowstorm 2.4

Oh yeah! And Amerie's next door started a new lingerie line last week, so's that's what I'm wearing, along with my Reindeer boots from Atelier AM \^0^/

やっほー！=^ｖ^=／　今回の御題は。まだまだ続くウサギ年。いよいよ来ましたPhoenixの新世代V2.4ベースのFirestorm（ファイアーストーム）ビュア！まだまだ完成には程遠いPreview予告版という位置づけだけど、Ｖ２程度のことならこなせる実用レベル＾＾そしてお隣のＡｍｅｒｉｅ’ｓエメさん、ランジェリー始めました。ので、さっそく着てみました！と、Atelier AM あやさんのレインディアブーツ！らぶ！

So. Here's the Firestorm screen. Or, the left half of it at least, lol. I'm using the Starlight skin (in pink) popular among Kirstens users. At this point, it's Viewer2 basically, with very little of the various TPV features - no radar yet, no bouncing boobies just yet. Some changes can be seen already in the interface, but the biggest difference is Firestorm's flexibility. See Jessica's movie on the Phoenix blog, showing how you can customize this viewer where the official viewer gave us so little leeway. And I think I've finally been able to put my paw on it - the lack of flexibility IS essentially the whole stigma about the official V2, or at least a very big part of it, he;p

And yep! My Amerie's pannies come with these cute frills on the fannies ^-^

これがＦｉｒｅｓｔｏｒｍ画面の一部。スキンは、やはりＶ２ベースのＫｉｒｓｔｅｎｓＶｉｅｗｅｒ愛用者のみなさんの間で人気のＳｔａｒｌｉｇｈｔのＰｉｎｋバージョン。（ちょっと酔いましゅｗ）まだ叩き台ということで、レーダーとかオッパイぽよよんなど、Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘほかサードパーティ開発の親切機能の多くはまた搭載されてないので、ほとんどＶ２みたいですけど。良くみるとインタフェースもいろいろ変更されてるし、純正Ｖ２に比べて使い勝手が既に断然よくなってます。たぶん一番重要なポイントは柔軟性なんじゃないでしょうか。Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘのブログでリーダのジェシカさんが作った動画がありますけど、それを見ると、純正では出来なかったカスタマイズが色々可能になってます。何せ、ＳＬまったく知らない外部業者にアウトソースして誕生したＶ２って話でですから、不自由だらけのインタフェイスをそのまま使えってのが、思えばＶ２最大の難点だったと気付かされますｗ　え？ええ＾＾エメさんのパンチュはおしりにフリフリつきですのｗ

So, with this Firestorm Preview, we now have a platform on which we can soon expect all those Phoenix and other Third Party features that we now can't live without ^^b Granted, it's a pre-beta preview, and there seem to be a lot of bugs that need to be fixed (yes, occasional crashes, but nothing life-threatening, I don't think? he;P In terms of stability, the Kirstens S21(3) is far ahead in ironing out many of the bugs and glitches.

One of the immediate benefits I'm getting from a V2-based viewer is the use of added-on tattoo and clothing layers. I'm having such a great time playing around with tattoo makeup combinations. Lip gloss on lip lacquer. Or, blush on blush, trying to recall, OMG, how my lipstick's gotten so smudged... LOL

Then, there's the clothing mixes like never before. Like under this LINC minidress worn on the jacket layer, the highleg thong uses the jacket and pants layers, worn over the League gartered stockings on the pants layer. Phew! that was a breathful ;P

Ｖ２ベースで何が楽しいかってと、タトゥレイヤのメイクや、服レイヤの重ね業ですよね～♪　リップグロスやリップラッカーを組み合わせて絶妙な色合い質感をだしたり。わざとメイクを崩して「だって激しいんだもん、、や～んエッチぃ」って思わず頬が熱く火照っちゃったりｗｗｗ

服でも、パンツレイヤに履いたＬｅａｇｕｅのガーターストッキングの上からパンツ／ジャケット構成のハイレグＧ。その上にＬＩＮＣのミニドレス＾－＾　いままでレイヤがかぶちゃって組み合わせられなかったアイテムが色々なコンビネーションを追求できて、面白くって面白くって^-^

Like it says on my tag - from the Madi's Secrets Update Group. It's one of those tags that I would never let go of, so that all this time, I've been juggling my groups around within bounds of maybe 15, rather than the 25 maximum. All the more, yaaay! for the 42 groups =^.^=

Well, actually, it wasn't just this tag that kept me with Madi's Secrets - it happens to be my favorite lingerie shop. So, in celebration of the new 42 group max, I'm wearing all Madilyn Ling lingerie for this post XD

With the latest version Phoenix, enable 42 group support from Advanced Menu > Debug Settings. Right there, near the bottom q^^ (you can enable Advanced Menu from the Phoenix menu).

From DebugSettings, type in [Phoenix40GroupsSupport] and set to True. It says 40, but you get all 42^^b You can also scroll the dropdown to find the entry. Notice that right below this, Phoenix also has support ready for 60 meter prims when that comes along with mesh imports.

Happy New Year! (three weeks late Gregorian, but a couple too early for Lunar, lol) Right, there has been a number of noteworthy news in SL since the last post, but more on those later. For now, it's the Year of the Bunny and Dollie wanted these new year picks in, and say Hi!^^

前回から色々とＳＬではニュースがありましたが、その辺は追々ということで、今回は取り急ぎ。卯年だってことでドリーちん皆さんに新年の御挨拶張り切ってたんだけどね＾＾；　遅くなってごめんよ、どりちんｗ

We didn't have any Season decorations at :sey Main Store this year, so I brought my own - on my back, hehe;p Shimenawa (from Flower Shop USAKO by Usako Laks) is a traditional Japanese wreath ornament that we put up on doorways for New Year, welcoming in benevolent dieties and spirits into the household. Otherwise, it's intended to decorate the presence of Divinity, so my wearing it was only appropriate, right? =^.~=

今年は店内にお正月飾り何も無かったんで自前で背負っておきましたｗ　ＦｌｏｗｅｒＳｈｏｐＵＳＡＫＯさんの注連縄、スカルプのクオリティ凄すぎ！気に入ってつい最近までどこいくのもこの姿でした。本当は逆さまなんだけど、力士や歌舞伎者の締め込み飾り感覚で、こんな感じ＾＾（どりちん！それ食べれないのよ！ｗ）

The news in SL is, we can now have 42 groups, up from 25. It's in the latest version of the official V2. The latest 725 and 818 versions of Phoenix already had them - just activate it from AdvancedMenu> DebugSettings> Phoenix40GroupsSupport, and relog. It says 40, but you get 42 just like the Lab made effective as of Jan 13. With Imprudence, currently, you can't join over 25 when you're invited, but you can join up to 42 if you got to the Join Menu from URL - but they are coming up with a patch soon^^

ＳＬ最新の話題としては、グループ数が２５から４２にアップ。Ｖ２最新版でいけます。Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘ最新７２５と８１８でも実装済みで、AdvancedMenu> DebugSettings> Phoenix40GroupsSupportで設定をＴｒｕｅにしてＰｈｏｅｎｉｘを再起動すればオッケ＾＾当初ラボが提示していたまま40GroupsSupportってなってるけど実際は1月13日実装された４２グループになります＾＾　Ｉｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅの場合、早急にパッチを準備してるとのことですが、第三者にＩｎｖｉｔｅされた場合は２５以上のグループに参加することは不可。でも自らＵＲＬ経由でグループメニューに行ってＪＯＩＮなら最大４２グループまで、いますぐにでも参加できます。４２グループ解禁、注連縄だって気軽に着ちゃえる（？ｗ）マルチアタッチ、任意の名前を名乗れるＤｉｓｐｌａｙＮａｍｅ。メッシュ導入とともに解禁される６０Ｍプリムなど。面白新要素いろいろの昨今ＳＬなのでしたー=^.~=

I've been trying out some new skins lately, like this one from DrLife. Pale and neutral, it makes a good base for some of the new, fun tattoo makeup I've come across recently. I found the kimono mini dress from Barbee at the annual New Year's Fair in Kyoto Sanjo. Bangasa parasol with the beautiful translucent texture from Sweetholic, as well as the silver hair ornament. Sukigeta sandals with prim tabi socks from SLINK - the most authentic and good-looking geta sandals I've yet seen.

タトゥメークの面白いものが沢山出回り始めて、スキン探しも近頃ちびっとマイブーム。このＤｒＬｉｆｅのとこ、なんとも妖艶で、京都三条での遊女風ＳＳ撮影も一人で気分ですぎで困ってしまいましたｗKyotoSanjo恒例の新年フェアで見つけたBarbeeさんの着物ミニドレスもﾑﾌｯ＾－＾透明テクスチャが美しい傘と髪飾りはSweetholicさんの定番アイテム。で、スキ下駄は、プリム足袋付きで、プリム足で以前も紹介したSLinkさん。

本年も御贔屓に！と、遅ればせながら新年ご挨拶と第一弾の投稿でした＾＾

Gigg-san has been way ahead of the time, with loads of stuff that we would have wanted in our wardrobes for SL's new multiple attachments, dazzling custom light shows for concerts, adorable pets and creatures like the WasaWasa avie, and so many other fond, memorable experiences in this world. But alas, he has been hyper busy in real life and hasn't been inworld much over the last couple of years...
His shop is closing on December 26 JST, and all items are on sale at 80% discount. Get them while you can, because each one of them are milestones in SL history. Thank you Gigg-san for all the great memories, and wishing you the best in whatever ventures await you irl =^.^=
最後に、とっても残念おしらせです。オリジナリティと夢一杯のモンスターを数々作ってきたGigguratRoffさんのショップMephistoが閉店になります。ジグさんといえば凄いライトショーとか、いろんな先駆的なことをやってきたクリエータ。新マルチアタッチ時代揃えたいアイテムも沢山あります。でも、リアル多忙で最近はインする時間がなかなかとれないとかで。。。CabooLoonさんのゴザルブログで知って私もお店に急行。２６日の閉店まで、全品８０％オフ。SLの歴史に残る名品の数々、機会があれば是非。

They're Here!　New V2 features in V1 and such

It's that time of year again....
I thought I'd take a little cruise before checking into Nick's Seasonal Deliveries this year, but it's started already....
The horn isn't so bad. Just a little itchy sometimes. But then in a week or so, the nose starts reddening, too....

It's something that runs in the family.

Okay, so they're here. At long last, a new release from Phoenix last weekend, the 1.4.2 Build 725. This version is still based on Viewer 1, with the same look and feel, but adopts many of Viewer 2's best new features, like the Linden's official version Multiple Attachments, as well as Display Names, and Inventory Links for V2-style Outfits - and rest assured, no Sidebar.
The new Phoenix release lets you change environment settings for your parcel, and for different altitudes on you parcel, like for your skybox^^b, and also contains preps for future introduction of 40 Groups (yay! XD from the current 25 limit).
最近まったりなサードパーティ・ビュア開発でしたが、来ました。先週末Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘ久々の新バージョン７２５です＾＾今まで通りＶ１ベースの使い勝手に、Ｖ２の新要素を良いとこ取り＾－＾複数アタッチもエメ時代からの２重アタッチからリンデン方式に移行。各装着点に何個でも無制限、そのかわり全身で最大３８アイテムまで装着可。（カブさん、２８って何か変だとおもってたら３８でしたね＾＾；すんまそｍ、、ｍ　ｗ）。自分の名前を別名でも表示できるＤｉｓｐｌａｙＮａｍｅ、それにＶ２式の衣装チェンジなど。でも、公式Ｖ２で何が要らないかってダントツ１位のサイドバーなんて、もちろん見送られてますがｗＴＰＶ陣営からの新開発としては、ＳＫＹとＷＡＴＥＲの環境設定が強化され、自分のパーセル全体もしくは指定の高度で設定できるとか。あとは、まだ目に見えないけど、近い将来実装される最大グループ数２５から４０にアップのための下地となるプログラミングなどが今回のリリースに含まれてるそうです。けっこう遊べる要素いろいろ＾＾最近なんか過疎化すすんでる気がするＳＬですが、面白いし、みんな帰ってきてちょｗ

Oh... and there's also this thing about the tail. It's not so much a discomfort. Maybe a bit when it starts growing come December.... It's that it starts twitching involuntarily at the most embarassing moments ;p

The Roadmap
All of the Third Party Viewer developers realize that the future lies in the V2 codebase, with the termination of the Snowglobe open source V1 development, and in light of upcoming enhancements in Second Life. But this migration to V2 based viewers seems to be a slow, grueling process so far.

Kirstens is already V2-based as of S20, current build 43. The next generation S21 with mesh imports and all, isn't in sight just yet, while Kirstenlee is seen spending a lot of time ironing out the V2 glitches with S20.
Imprudence has started work on its new generation V2-based viewer, which is going to be renamed the Kokua Viewer, but that probably won't be coming soon. Meanwhile, they are working on version 1.4 of the current V1-based viewer with imported V2 features, to be released within a week or so. After that, they're taking a break from development over the holiday season.
The Phoenix V2 development goes by the codename Firestorm. If I remember correctly, that was due for some sort of release within the year, but again, that seems unlikely. Instead, we got Build 725, which follows in the line of Imprudence, where new V2 features are imported to the familiar V2 base. But I'm not complaining =p Because it seems to be the best formula at this moment. It works, it's stable, and it makes SL a bit more fun.
Well, actually, most of these V2 imports are thanks to Henri Beauchamps of the CoolVL Viewer. Cool VL is a completely legit viewer, fully compliant with all TPV requirements except that it's author Henri does not provide personal information to Linden Lab as required for listing on the Official TPV Directory. (See why on Henri Beauchamp's blog/download site.) Cool VL is distributed as a patch that you put over your installed official LL Viewer 1, so you may want to download the updated versions of Snowglobe before the Lindens pull them off their site by the end of the year ^^b
さてさて、全ＴＰＶ開発者のコンセンサスとしては、将来的にはやっぱりＶ２ベースに移行せざるを得ないってことで夏ごろから各陣営が開発を進めているようですが、、、難航してるようです。本家公式Ｖ２もまだまだ問題多いようでし、鳴り物入りのメッシュもまだまだの様子。むしろ信頼できるＶ１ベースにＶ２の新要素を取り込むのが、今のところ正解のようですね。
グラ特化のＫｉｒｓｔｅｎｓは、もう完全にＶ２ベースの開発で、最新ビルドはＳ２０Ｂｕｉｌｄ４３。でもＶ２の問題点もっさりに直面して、もうそら大変みたいです。次世代Ｓ２１も本来ならもう発表されてるはずだけど、本家のメッシュ実装も先のようだし、、、
今回Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘ新リリースの内容の多くは、すでにＩｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅなどで既に実装済みなんですね、じつは。Ｉｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅは従来のＶ１ベースの最新１．４バージョンがとりあえずベータで数日中には出るとのこと。ただし、Ｖ２の新機能の多くは現行バージョンまでにもう導入済み。Ｖ２ベースの開発にも力をいれてるようで、やはりＶ２難題もっさりで開発チーム疲労コンパイのようです。1.4のリリースすんだら年末年始しばらく休息だそうです。因みにＶ２ベースの次世代ビュアは、Ｋｏｋｕａコクアに改名されるそうです。ハワイ語で助け合いって意味らしい。
Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘも、秋口当初の予定ではＶ２ベースの新ビュア（コードネームＦｉｒｅＳｔｏｒｍ）を年内にも発表ｎはずだったと思うけど、こちらも春になるらしい。
まぁ、本家Ｖ２そのものが問題なんで、やむを得ないのかな。。。でも、現在のＶ１ベースでＶ２良いとこ取り、ぜんぜん使いやすいし安定してるので、わたし的にはまったく問題なしんぐ＾－＾　まぁ、あとはＴａｔｔｏｏの重ね着できれば。
その良い所取りの多くを実現してくれているのが、ＣｏｏｌＶＬビュアの開発者ＨｅｎｒｉＢｅａｕｃｈａｍｐｓさん。Ｖ２進機能の移植のほか、Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘなどで採用されてる多くの改良機能も作ってる人です。ＣｏｏｌＶＬは、リンデンラボ公認のＴＰＶ名簿には載ってませんが、ＴＰＶ公認のためにラボが要求する個人情報を作者が思うところあって提出していないこと以外は、ＴＰＶの法規的・倫理的条件をすべて満たしている優良ビュアなので、機会があれば是非一度お試しを＾＾　ただ、このビュアは、ＬＬ公式のＳｎｏｗＧｌｏｂｅ1.4ビュアをインストールした上にパッチを実行する方法でインストールされるので、ちょっと変わってます。んで、そのオープンソース版Ｖ１のＳｎｏｗＧｌｏｂｅ、リンデン公式サイトから年内一杯でダウンロードできなくなるということなので、今のうちに！

旧ＰｏｗｅｒＰＣ対応のＭａｃ版も、いまなら旧バージョンのＣｏｏｌＶＬであるので、ＳｎｏｗＧｌｏｂｅとともに今のうちですね。

TPV Updates:
TPV viewer dev teams have been promising major updates these few weeks. I assumed they were all working on bringing in Mesh Imports, which is now into Open Beta on LL's test grid. But apparently, there was one humongous glitch with LL's mesh imports - while everything else is being provided as open source to third party devs, a vital component for rendering the imported mesh data into SL, called the Convex Decomposition Library, turns out to be part of the Havok server, which LL lincenses from Intel, and thus can not be redistributed to third parties... Meaning, the meshes work only with Linden V2 - which no more than 20% of the SL population uses as of recent stats. Having been dropped this bomb recent meetings with Linden Lab, TPV dev teams are currently searching for open source alternatives to the licensed Intel library. And that may take a little time... But then again, there seems to be a whole bunch of other problems that still need to be worked out with mesh importing itself, which may also take some time anyway ;p
今月に入って各サードパーティ・ビュア（TPV)、そろって「重要なアップデート」的なリリースを予告。メッシュ・インポートもオープンベータ開始で、それに備えた機能がいろいろ来るのでは、と思いきやｗ　最近行われたTPVとリンデンラボ開発者の会議で、そのメッシュ・インポートに関する重大な問題が判明。メッシュのデータを持ってきても、それをSLの世界で涌かせるためのライブラConvex DecompositionというのがHAVOKサーバのもので、インテルからライセンス。よって、第三者へ再配布不可。あれま、、、まじっすか、、、これ以外なら何でもオープンソースでサードパーティに提供できるし、メッシュ普及のためなら何でも上げ膳据え膳協力惜しまないけど、これだけはダメ、って。と、なると、当面メッシュが使えるのは、現在に至って普及率いまだ２０％そこそこのリンデン純正Ｖ２のみ、、、いま必死にフリーラインセンスで使える代わりのライブラリを探してるらしいです。候補はいくつかあるみたいだけど、ある程度時間がかかるかもと、見通しはたってないようです。ただ、メッシュインポート全般で課題がまだまだもさっとあるようでもあるし、リンデン自体もメッシュを成功させるためには皆一緒にドンっとタイミング合わせて行きたいって認識あるようなので、、、

And so, it may be some time before we see meshes in the Main Grid. But we are seeing the promised important updates from the TPVs. Nothing flashy, but a lot of thorough bug fixing - like the latest Kirstens S20(40) for which Kirstenlee went back to proofread the code line by line. Imprudence has released it's stable 1.3.0, based on which they are adding on new features in their weekly Experimental releases. Phoenix, who just got incorporated as an NPO, hasn't come up with any new release since Oct5, but say they have major bugs fixed as of their 225 and 337, and have retired their initial 1.5.0 release, which is now blocked. They explain that the older, sanitized version of the Emerald release was filled with bugs, but I suppose there still were some residual compliance issues. Ascent, meanwhile, still is the most stable among the TPVs to begin with, IMO. And yet, despite dev team visions of keeping Ascent simple, it's probably the most feature-rich, and even supports the new LL-style multiple attachments.
というわけで、メッシュインポートはちっくり遅れそうではあるものの、各ＴＰＶとも予告どおり（それなりにｗ）重要なアップデートをリリースしてます。主に徹底したバグフィックスが中心で、地味ですけど。たとえばＫｉｒｓｔｅｎｓは手作業でコードをすべてチェックしなおしたＳ２０（４０）。Ｉｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅは安定バージョン1.3.0を区切りとして、それをベースに新機能を加えたＥｘｐｅｒｉｍｅｎｔａｌリリースを週一ペースで。ＮＰＯとして法人化したＰｈｏｅｎｉｘは10月5日から新リリースはないものの、２２５と最新３７３までに大きなバグは大体解消とのことで、解毒版エメのままでバグが多かった1.5.0をリタイヤさせてます。旧バージョンでログイン不可で、アップグレード要求されます。Ａｓｃｅｎｔは当初から一番安定してる気がしますけど、シンプルにという開発者達のビジョンとは裏腹に、リンデン式マルチアタッチなど新機能が一番充実してるようでもあります。

On a brighter note, Qarl Fizz (formerly Qarl Linden) who brought us sculpties and mesh imports, before being abruptly laid off by LL in August, then being totally disillusioned when Emeraldgate broke out just days after he joined the team.... well, he's back! He released a new building tool for free use by TPVs - the Qarl Align Tool that's already been implemented in the latest Ascent and Imprudence releases, and due also in Kirstens next Build 41 release. You can see the tutorial for the tool and read his message in his blog :)

We recently had to take the step of blocking access to our SIM by avatars that are less than seven days old. This is because we have been receiving numerous complaints from our customers - there are scammers using 0-day old avatars, asking you to "lend" them money to help get started in SL. 　このたびＳＥＹ本店では、７日未満のアバの入場を制限させていただく措置を取らせていただきました。０日など若いアバで新人を装い、カンパを求めるＩＭを送ってくる、古典的な詐欺手口が店内で頻発し、最近お客様から多数の通報を頂いていました。長くＳＬで過ごして折られるみなさんなら、引っかかることも無いとは思いますが、くれぐれもお気をつけください。ってか、ぶっちゃけてウザイですｗ
It's such an old, lame con, I don't expect anyone's falling for it, but it is definitely a nuisance. I've encountered one guy who comes back with a new AVie everyday, hitting me twice within a single hour with the exact same copy&pasted line, LOL. Of course, they are perfectly aware of their wrong-doing, so they're changing their avatar every day before the Lindens or real life authorities can get to them....　私が店内で見つけた詐欺師のひとりは、毎日新キャラを作りなおして御来店、１時間の間に２度も一語一句同じコピペＩＭを送ってきました。「新人たすけて」って演出と同時に、自分がやってることがリアル詐欺犯罪と充分認識してるのでしょう　―捕まる前にアバを代えてるわけですね。ＳＥＹ本店以外にもいくつかの狩場があるようで、あわただしくＳＩＭを出たり入ったりしてました。
We can image how some of our clients of many years may want to create new alts, and come instore right away to start dressing up. I remember doing it, too^^ Sorry, you'll have to wait till you're 7 days old, or get dressed at our SL Marketplace shop. But please understand that this age limit is among the best ways to block out con artists as well as copybots.
If you still come across these criminals, just ignore them, mute them, or TP out of the SIM if you don't want them copyboting your clothes, or stealing personal info out of you.

Latest Viewer Releases:
TPVD dev teams have apparently been working on new versions of their viewers that do not rely on the kdu.dll for texture loading, per instructions from Linden Labs last month. Over the past week, the TPVs have all come up with new releases promising substantial improvements in graphics, so that you will probably want to install these latest versions. That, plus the fact that we have been asked to accept new changes in the TOS upon login this week, the assumption is that all viewers on the TPVD listing are now compliant with the no-kdu guideline.
ここ一週間の新リリースを見ると、各ビュア、いずれもグラ能力の向上もしくは重要な変更をうたった内容になっているようです。以前もお伝えしたように、ライセンス規約に抵触する可能性があるためテクスチャを効率よくロードするKDUというソフトを使わないようにというリンデンラボのお達しを受けて各陣営が代替プログラムを模索していたわけですが、今週までにリンデン公認TPVDビュアのすべてで完了したようです。それに伴い、今週ログインされた際、みなさんもTOS利用規約の承諾を新たに求められたと思います。各開発チーム、けっこう苦労しててリリースが遅れがちでしたが、たぶんリンデンからの助言などもあったようで、「安定性」「パフォーマンス向上」「高速化」などをうたった新バージョンが発表されてます。

No longer a release candidate, devs call the 1.3.0 Stable Release the culmination of one year's work. The experimental release is essentially 1.4.x in the making, now based on the 1.3.0 Stable, plus a whole bunch of new features. And, btw, the Imprudence Blog reports lead dev McCabe Maxsted's laptop in its final death throes. Imprudents are pitching in to help with L$ inworld and USDs^^

Current Version: S20 Build39 (Sept 30)
Complies with LL's no-kdu requirement. Aside from possible bugfix releases, Kirstenlee says the next major release will be the S21, featuring mesh imports and other new Snowstorm stuff. Meanwhile, older Kirstens versions are currently retired, but non-kdu versions are promised eventually for the Viewer 1.5-based S16 and S19.
リンデンラボのKDU禁止令に準じた最新リリースです。途中バグフィックスのリリースなどはあるかもだけど、次回リリースはいよいよS21突入で、話題のポリゴンメッシュなどの新機能満載バージョンになるそうです。まぁ、リンデンのオープンベータもやっと来週からだし、まだ少し先の話でしょうけど。その間、脱KDUということで、S20以前の旧バージョンは現在すべてリタイア。いずれV1仕様のS16とS19はKDU無しバージョンを発表してゆくとのことです。

Current Version: 1.4.2.8 (Oct 4)
Ascent development started out amidst the Emerald scandal, fully aware of LL's change in policy, and has been working on a non-kdu solution from the outset. The latest release includes bugfixes from the 1.4.2.7 which became the first V1-based viewer with the new LL-style mutiple attachments. Granted, there are issues when you revert to other V1 viewers, the attachments render correctly on all viewers. Also with Emerald/Phoenix-style double attachments.
アセントは、そもそもエメ問題でラボのKDU禁止の方針が見えていたタイミングで発足したプロジェクトなので、当初より脱KDU最先端を走っていたので、バグフィックスなども進み、かなり錬れたビュアになってます。V1ベースのビュアとしては初めて純正V2のマルチ装着を実装するなど、新機能をいち早く体験できます。プリムのマルチ装着に関しては、ほかのV1ベースビュアに変えると装着してたオブジェクトがすべて脱げてて「うぎゃ！あたしハゲじゃん＠＠」に注意ｗｗｗですけど、すべてのビュアで複数アタッチが正しく表示されます。エメ風の２重アタッチも出来ます。

Phoenix
Current Version: 1.5.1.373 (Oct 5)
Phoenix devs claim significant improvements in avatar rendering, speed and stability, with this release. Phoenix has also had an early start with non-kdu, since that was one of the LL requirements the Phoenix devs had to address for their last Emerald release. In this latest release, the kdu-replacement openjpeg.dll has been upgraded to version 1.4. The highlight selected toggle in the edit floater menu is a welcome new feature, too.
グラ性能、スピード、安定性、大幅アップだそうです＾＾　フィーニックスもまた、エメ終末の段階でラボからKDU禁止通達を受けて開発されたリリースがそもそものスタートなので、脱KDUでは一歩先をいってるビュアです。今回のリリースでは、KDU代替のOPENJPEG.DLLもV1.4にアップ。新機能としては、編集を開くと選択したオブジェクトのハイライトを消せる切替なんか個人的には凄い重宝してます＾＾

NOTE:
When upgrading to the latest Phoenix 373 release, when you log on for the first time, you need to clear your disk cache once to make your AV render correctly. You can do this from the Login screen with Edit> Preferences> Network > CLEAR CACHE. Just remember though, when you do this, your chat/IM/notice logs will be lost.
フィーニックス最新３７３にアップした場合、初めてログインするとアバが正しく表示されません。一度[編集＞環境設定＞ネットワーク＞キャッシュ・クリア]を行ってインしなおしてください。ログイン画面からもできますが、通知やIMのログなど失われることをお忘れなく。

You may have experienced trouble logging on the Phoenix screen this week. Apparently, there was a series of DDoS attacks on the Phoenix site by some anti-IP activists who also targeted movie and record industry copyright organizations around the world. It's assumed these attacks do not present any real danger to users, except possible inconveniences like temporary inability to change your tag colors, or a message that you're not using a legit version of Phoenix, which you could just ignore.
今週Phoenixのログイン画面がなかなかロードしないことを経験されたかも知れませんが、これはフィーニックスのサイトがＤＤｏＳ攻撃を受けていたことによるそうです。反著作権テロで、レコード業界や映画業界など、世界中の著作権団体などのサイトに（過剰なＲｅｑｕｅｓｔコマンドを集中させてサーバーをクラッシュさせる）DDoS攻撃が現在仕掛けられてるらしいです。ユーザには特に実害は無いとのことです。アバのタグ色が変更できないとか、「正しい発行元によるPhoenixではありません」といった無視しても構わないメッセージがでるなど、サーバが正常に戻った状態でログインしなおせば直る程度のことだとか。迷惑だけど問題なしんぐ。

Imprudence reports a possible issue loading the LL TOS acceptance page with the new 1.3.0 viewer. You may experience similar problems with other viewers, too. While Imprudence has a hotfix for this downloadable from their site, you can just login with an older version, or some other viewer to accept the TOS. You only have to accept the TOS once. Simple^^b
インプルデンス最新版では、リンデンTOS承諾画面が正常にDLしないトラブルが報告されていて、HotFixのパッチが配布されてますが、簡単なことで、各アバ１回承諾しちゃえばいいわけなので、旧バージョンなり別のビュアを立ち上げて承諾ぽちんすればオッケ＾＾ｂこれも問題なしんぐ＾－＾

Kirstens will have that done by the next Build 39, at which point they will be retiring all older version downloads. Third Party Devs also have their sights set right now on incorporating the new LL version multiple attachments. Kirstens 20 is already using the Viewer 2.0 codebase, so this should be a cinch. Imprudence has long been talking about backporting the LL multi-attachments, but newcomer Ascent has appararently beaten them to it with their latest 27 September release.

The blue one again.... As promised, more about the new Ascent viewer. But first, a few update info and heresay about various TPVD viewers and SL viewerdom in general.
青いわぁ。　ということで？ｗ遅くなりましたが新ビュアＡｓｃｅｎｔについて第二弾。でもその前にまずは、ＳＬビュア全般について風の便りあれこれ。。。

@ The Imprudence viewer blog tells us that Linden Labs held a meeting with TPVD devs on Sept 18, and issued their new policy about llkdu.dll - they do not want third party viewers to have the ability to load the kdu file - the licensed KAKADU software that makes textures load faster. When it became evident that Phox, Fractured etal. laced the Emerald version emkdu with malicious code, a lot of us just deleted emkdu, and copied over LL's version llkdu.dll from the official SL Viewer folder, since viewers proved too unstable with the default open source alternative, openjpeg.dll. But that's technically a license violation, so LL wants TPVs not to use llkdu. Imprudence will be complying to this by their next Release Candidate, but the current builds will retain the capability to utilize llkdu. With Phoenix, the assumption is that all their releases do not load llkdu. The release of a viewer that *does*not*use*emkdu*OR*llkdu* was part of the terms of compliance that Phoenix leader Jessica Lyon herself had worked out with Linden Labs for the Emerald viewer. Emerald Release 2587, which Phoenix is based on, is thought to be that kdu-less viewer promised with Linden Labs. Both Phoenix and Ascent, as of their latest releases, now have updated versions of OpenJPEG. Personally, I find it quite livable with the latest OpenJPEG. It's stable enough. I've seen Phoenix devs and Ascent devs pointing out that the difference between kdu and openjpeg is so minimal by now, why go with kakadu or llkdu at all.

@Ｉｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅブログの最新ポストでは、９月１８日リンデンラボがサードパーティビュアの開発者を集めてた会議で、ＬＬＫＤＵ．ＤＬＬを使わない仕様に変更するよう御達しがあったとのこと。ＬＬＫＤＵとは、テクスのロードを高速化するＫａｋａｄｕという有料ライセンスソフトで、現在既にアカバンされたエメ開発者Ｐｈｏｘが悪質プログラミングを仕込ませたＥＭＫＤＵも同じＫａｋａｄｕのライセンス。エメ事件を聞いて、多くのユーザーはＥＭＫＤＵをフォルダーから速攻削除。でもＥＭＫＤＵが無い場合、デフォのオープンソース代替ＯｐｅｎＪＰＥＧが余りにも不甲斐なくクラッシュしまくり。そこで公式１．２３ビュアのフォルダーからリンデンラボ版のＬＬＫＤＵをコピーして使ってたわけですが。言われてみればそうなんでしょうけど、これだとライセンス違反ってこと。だからＬＬＫＤＵが使えない状態にして欲しいと。しゃあないですね。Ｉｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅは渋々、時期ＲＣまでに対応でも、発表したばかりの試験リリースを含めて現在進行中のビルドについては、そのままＬＬＫＤＵ拝借可の方針。一方Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘに関して、エメ問題が発覚してリンデンラボが突きつけた緊急対応措置の一つが、問題の中心となったＥＭＫＤＵもＬＬＫＤＵも使用しないビュアの早期リリース。このときエメ開発側で折衝に当たってたのが現在Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘの代表のジェシカ・ライオンさんで、Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘのベースとなっているエメ最後のリリース２５８７が、まさに、リンデンが要求していたＬＬＫＤＵ無しのビュアと思われるわけで、既にＫＤＵをまったく使っていないものと考えられます。エメの時代では使い物にならねっ（怒！）と言われていたＯｐｅｎＪｐｅｇも、ＰｈｏｅｎｉｘやＡｓｃｅｎｔの最新リリースで実装されているバージョンでは、かなり改良されてて、Ａｓｃｅｎｔ、Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘ両陣営の開発者達が、もう殆どＫＤＵに比べて見劣りせず「これならＫＤＵって、もういらなくね？＾＾」と。僭越ながら、あたし個人の実感としても、安定してるし、ぜんぜんいいんじゃないすか？ってところです＾＾

@ In the Kirstens viewer blog, there are discussions about what are to come hereafter, beyond Viewer 2.1, and with Snowstorm, the new LL open source viewer that will be replacing SnowGlobe by the end of this year. Of particular interest to me personally, and I'm sure most of you too^^, is about the multiple attachment points and multiple clothing layers. Multiple tattoos are already available for 2.1. Double attachments are only available right now with Phoenix(/Emergence) and Ascent, while Imprudence is waiting for Linden Lab's Snowstorm version. I've been hearing elsewhere that this LL version multiple attachments is going to be like five clothing layers and five attachments on each point. The Kirstens post reports that it's going to be limitless attachments per point, but limited to an overall total of 38 attachments. I started counting how many points I had on my body, but decided to put that off for a while when I heard that this LL version multi-attachments will have to wait for the next generation Havok7 servers..... like, oh..... And, when if ever that might be? LOL And yes, of course, Kirstens had gone completely 2.0, while the latest Phoenix announcement mentions that there's going to be a 2.0-based (or SnowStorm-based) version coming sometime in the near future. I just hope that they mean more like what the Ascent devs are envisioning - Sure, 2.0 and Snowstorm are inevitable, but it shouldn't be such an insurmountable challenge putting together a viewer with the familiar (and I say far more intuitive and superior) 1.23-based interface as Emerald-Emergence-Imprudence-Phoenix-Ascent.

@完全にＶ２．０の道へいってしまったＫｉｒｓｔｅｎｓＶｉｅｗｅｒのブログでは、Ｖ２．１以降、そしてリンデン公式オープンソースのが現行のＳｎｏｗＧｌｏｂｅから年内に完全にＳｎｏｗＳｔｏｒｍに移行する（ＳｎｏｗＧｌｏｂｅは１．５も２．０もＤＬページから消えるそうです）ことを踏まえ、この先なにがくるのか、という話になってます。Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘの最新アナウンスでも、近日中にＶ２（というかＳｎｏｗＳｔｏｒｍ）をベースにしたバージョンに取る組むようなことを言ってますが。あのＶ２のインタフェースはねぇえｗｗｗむしろＡｓｃｅｎｔの開発者達が考えているように、これまでのインターフェイスを２．０ベースに引き継ぐこともできなくね？いやむしろ、楽勝じゃね？というビジョンをＰｈｏｅｎｉｘさんたちも共有していることを是非望みたい！以上！Ｉｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅもこれまでのスタイルを継承して２．０へ、というスタンスのようですし＾＾　まぁ、それ以外は、２．０式のＵＩが今後どうなろうと、まったく興味がないあたしとしては、関心事は、装着ポイントごとの複数アタッチメントがどうなるか。タトゥの重ね着は公式Ｖ２．１で可能になったってことですが、複数装着に関してはエメ方式の２点装着が可能なＰｈｏｅｎｉｘ（Ｅｍｅｒｇｅｎｃｅ）とＡｓｃｅｎｔのみ。Ｉｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅはリンデンラボが開発中の複数装着のオープンソースを待つ方針。で、そのリンデン版の複数装着は、装着ポイントごとに５点などと、他のブログなどで噂されてましたが、Ｋｉｒｓｔｅｎｓのブログによると、ポイントごとに装着できるオブジェクト数は無制限。ただし、全身で装着できるオブジェクトは最大３８点まで。。。ふむ。。。からだにいくつ装着点あったっけ？って数えだして、ふと読み続けてみると、次世代Ｈａｖｏｋ７までマテ！とｏｒｚ　テストワールドじゃはしゃいでるようですが、、、たのしそうで、いいのぅｗ　当分ＡｓｃｅｎｔとＰｈｏｅｎｉｘで遊んでるからいいもん＾＾　でも、あんなとこやこんなとこに、あってはならないものがぶら下がって見えても、文句いうな、というお話でした

The Ascent viewer has the same type radar as the Emerald format. It currently shows Name, Distance, Position, Altitude, and Client. But Dev HG Beeks is fielding user input as to what sort of info people want displayed in a radar. Like Phoenix displays Age, or if the guy's got Payment Info - very important in some business sectors, hehe;p

Ａｓｃｅｎｔにもエメ風のレーダー。もはや、お仕事に必須という方も少なくないと思いますけど。現在は対象がいる場所の情報を表示。Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘなら経過日数と現金マーク。「これって基本よねぇ」という業界の方もｗで、今後ユーザのフィードバックに応じて、どういう情報を表示するか検討していくとのことです。

One of my favorite features from Emerald is that little button all the way at the bottom right, next to the media panel. Click it and you get this - the Settings Panel. Ascent has both Windlight Sky and Water settings. Phoenix doesn't have WL Water, but has both Max Node (higher to prevent no-shows of small prim parts) and LOD Factor (higher for improved scultpty rendering). And new, Phoenix has the PDD Interval setting for stepped distance rendering - like from Imprudence. Ascent also comes preloaded with lots of WL settings, and viewer skins, too =^.^=

ＷＬの手練手管も仕込み。スマイル＝０円もね＾＾

エメからお気に入りで、しょっちゅう使ってる機能が一番右下、メディアパネルの右にある、見逃しちゃいそうな、ちっちゃいボタン。押すとセッティングパネルが出ます。ＡｓｃｅｎｔではＷｉｎｄｌｉｇｈｔのＳｋｙとＷａｔｅｒのプリセット選択。ＰｈｏｅｎｉｘにはＷＬ水面設定は無いけど、細かいプリムの欠落を防ぐのに調整するＭａｘＮｏｄｅ設定（リンデンがデフォを半分にカットしちゃった数値が、ここでは元の数値がデフォで、お気に入りのアクセも安心＾＾）に加えて、スカルプの変形を防ぐＬＯＤＦａｃｔｏｒの設定も。新たにＰＤＤインターバル設定で、Ｉｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅが始めた、近いものから段階的にレンダリングさせていくステップ・レンダリングの調節も。またＡｓｃｅｎｔはＰｈｏｅｎｉｘ同様にＷＬスカイのプリセットやビュアのスキンなどもたくさん入ってるんで、別ビュアのフォルダからせっせと運んでくる手間もなしの、０円でスマイルな気分なのであります＾＾

Just prior to the announcement of Emerald's ban from the Second Life Grid, three new viewers were added to the Lindens' Third Party Viewer Directory. We've talked about the two Emerald-based clients, Emergence and Phoenix, in previous posts. Today, we'll look at the third new TPVD viewer, Ascent. I've been hearing about this one for about a week, but was a bit wary of it. Ascent was just released on 24 August. Promises a lot of features from Emerald, and already has a reputation for being very light and stable, despite it being such an early build. But then, I hear that it's based on Inertia, which had been used as a copybot viewer in the past. Oh? And Inertia's author is none other than Hazim Gazov, the victim of the DDoS attack by Fractured, Phox and Gang - the motive of the hostility was because Hazim has been a vocal critic of Emerald's integrity, and instrumental in uncovering many of Modular System's malicious activities. Interesting....
エメラルドSL締め出し発表に先駆けてリンデン公式の推奨ビュアリストTPVDに、新たに３つのビュが加えられたわけですが、エメ発生のEmergenceとPhoenixは連日ご紹介してる通り。で、今回は、第３の新入りAscentをみてきます＾＾アセントは、８月２４日初リリース、出来立てほやほやビュア。ほとんど何も分からなかったけど、じょじょにその全容が明らかに。正体わからんというのに加え、かつてコピーボットビュアとしてぶひぶひ言っていたInertiaがベース？と聞いて更に不安に。で、Inertiaの作者がHazimGazov氏、エメのFracturedやPhoxが、悪事を暴露された仕返しにDDOS攻撃を試み、とうとうリンデンラボの擁護派でっさえも見放され、エメ追放の一連の動きに繋がった、その人。へえええーーーー！な、わけですｗ
でもかつてはコピーボット作者であっても、最近ではエメ事件をはじめ、今ではSL内の不正行為を厳しくチェックする側になってるHazimさん、プログラマーとしてInertia（イナーシャ）の評価はすこぶるものだったそうです。現在はInertiaは捨てて新たにYetiという、まっとうなビュアを開発中とのことで、発生ビュアのAscentチームにも加わってないようです（アドバイスもとめられれば、ほいほいと、かなり良い人のようですけどｗ） Hazimさんを前から知るアセントMAC版開発のBelayaさんによると、たまに鼻につくこともあるけど、悪い人間じゃないし、ぜったい嘘はつかない。実際、Inertiaをベースにアセントの開発を始めてみると、削除するべき機能は、どれもどうどうと、わかりやすいところにあり、エメラルドからEmergenceやPhoenixを開発する際、まだ何か隠されてるんじゃないかと何度もチェックしなおすような苦労は、Ascentではまったくなかったとのことです。

Ascent dev Beeks admits he has more work to do with the AO, but at least it should be working as of the Sept12 release. Notice the Imprudence-style vertical chat tabs, stacked on the left rather than trailing at bottom - select from Preferences.
内臓ポーズスタンドでどこでも化粧直し。うちの本店みたいにスク禁止ゾーンでも大丈夫。アセント開発やってるウサギのビークスさんによると、AOはまだいまいちだけど、９月１２日の最新リリースでは、すくなくとも使える状態。チャット画面の切替タブは、Imprudence風に左側に並べるVerticalか、デフォの従来型が設定で選べるのウサ＾－＾ｂ　（カリスマ店員、仮名・ドリちん）

Apparently, Hazim has long abandoned the Snowglobe 1.4.1-based Inertia, and moved on to developing a totally new viewer called Yeti (phewy, took me a bit to recall the name - I keep remembering it as Inuit. Sorry, LOL). He is not part of the new Ascent team, although I see him in various forums, willing to provide his knowhow to other TPV devs, including the
Ascent team. Meanwhile, Hazim hopes to develop his new Yeti as a fully TPV-compliant, legit viewer.

And so, Ascent made its debut amidst the growing suspicions against Emerald, trying to develop a viewer that answers the needs of creators and builders, as well as SIM managers and business owners, taking advantage of the highly reputed quality and stability of the Inertia viewer, if not for it's non-TPV-compliant capabilities. At the helm of the Ascent project are two SL creators/business owners, hg Beeks (a veteran scripter designing things like vendors, who first created Ascent) and Charley Levenque (aka Charlotte Wirtanen, creating and selling furry av products in SL, who was working on his own fork of Inertia called Explicit, and which I keep remembering as Implicit - Imprudence, Exprudence, you know how itis, LOL). And, joining them in the overall development as well as the OSX builds, Belaya Statosky, and many other similar-minded developers.
んで、今回のAscentアセントの開発は、ベンダーの開発販売などスクリプターが生業のHG BEEKSさんと、アダルト系オモチャも含めたFurry向け中心のSLビジネスを展開してるCharley Levenqueさんの共同プロジェクト。BEEKSさんはクリエータ・ショップオーナ向けの軽快ビュアを目指して定評のあるInertiaをベースとしたAscentを先に開発中のところ、同じくビジネス向けビュアとしてInertiaベースのExplicitというビュアを開発中だったCharleyさんと合流。Ascentの中心部分の開発はもっぱらBeeksさんで、Charleyさんはリンデン人脈で各機能が公式ルールに合致してるかすり合わせなどの広報活動のほか、あくまでアセントをベースにアダルト向け開発用に、一部で要望の多いRestrainedLove対応機能をプラスしたバージョンとしてExplicitを準備中。そしてMac版担当として、Belaya Statoskyさんが加わり。と、いった役割分担のようです。

Some of Ascent's builder tools - from Tools in the Pie Menu, Measure from object to object, Data of object position and rotation, Script Count as in Emerald, Reset Script without going into menu bar. And by activating Power User Functionalities (at your own risk ^.~) Destroy! to delete object immediately without trashcan, or Explode! to do that with more bang, LOL. These seem to mess with the inventory server, and I started feeling bad mojo drifting in air so I disabled it right away ;p

アセントのクリエータ・ビルダー用便利機能の一例としてパイメニューのToolsから、Measureでオブジェクトとオブジェクトの間の距離計測、Dataでオブジェクトの位置情報回転情報の表示、エメからの機能でScriptCountでオブジェクトのスクリプト値、ResetScriptでメニュを開かずにスクを即リセット。環境設定でPowerUserFunctionalityをオンにして更にその下の確認ボタンオンで適応を押すと有効になるInertiaからのオリジナル機能のうち、Destroyでオブジェクトをゴミ箱経由せずに即削除。Explodeだと、ちょっとやんちゃにデストロイ！ｗｗｗしかし、このパワー機能は自己責任でって確認してるように、けっこうInventoryServerをデストロイのようでｗなんかバグりだしたんで小心者のあたしはあわててオフにｗ

They have a User's Group to keep users updated, and plan to hold weekly Office Hours where the devs are all there to answer user questions on local chat. You can see the transcript of their first Office Hours meeting from their website.
At least I feel comfortable enough with Ascent to spend nearly as much time with Ascent as I'm inworld with Phoenix =^.~=
アセントの説明書のようなものはまだ殆どありませんが、まぁエメ使っていたみなさんなら、まったく違和感なく使いこなせる、そんな造りです。また上に貼ったSLUniverseのスレッドでは、Beeks氏を中心に開発者たちが直接ユーザの疑問に答えてて、なかなか好感がもてます。SL内ではユーザグループもあって、開発者不在の場合でもユーザ同士でもグループチャットで助け合えるようになってます。また定期的OfficeHoursというミーティングを開き、ユーザの質問に答えていきたいってことです。Ascentviewerホームページの下の方にあるOfficeHoursリンクから、第一回ミーティングのログが見られます。なんかほのぼのな雰囲気も好感ｗ

Like I was saying in my recent posts, I've been trying out a whole bunch of third party viewers of late, as I suppose a lot of you are doing, too. Like stretching the limits of my hardware for the DaZZiNG graphics made possible with the Kirstens Viewer. It really is addictive, although there are times when I seriously fear being frozen through to the thawing of the next Ice Age, LOL. Kirstens requires a LOT of processing power, and all the hours I'm spending with the Snowglobe 2-based Kirstens S20 has further reinforced my conviction that Viewer 2.0 is NOT the way to go ;p
Sorry, Joe L., but there's my verdict.

これまでの記事でもお伝えしてたけど、エメ問題が表面化していらい、いろんなビュアを試してます＾＾　例えばKirstens Viewerなどは、グラがキラキラ艶々自然で、すっかり病み付きになるます＞ｖ＜　ただし、ハード環境の限界への挑戦となるので、そらもう大変です。温暖化で富士山の永久凍土が溶け出す御時勢にあって、次の氷河期までガッチリ凍りついたままかい？と思うほど（英文からの引用なので、ここは一つｗ）また、V2.0ベースのKirstensS20の方を長時間使って一言：　ビュア２、無理ｗｗｗ　馴れれば良いとかって問題じゃなくて、ビュア１．０を機能的にも退化させて、むしろあると不便な子供だまし機能で飾りつけ。よりシンプルに新規ユーザにより馴染みやすくって考えだそうですが、、、　新規ユーザに出会ったら、TPVビュアの世界にいざなってあげましょうｗ

Okay, back to viewer talk: the viewer that should top the list as the Emerald alternative is Phoenix. Rightfully so, because it IS Emerald Release 2587 without the malicious code, as well as new fixes and features being added in everyday. At the moment, the Phoenix development may as well be the most transparent of all the TPVs, adhering to the strict standards LL laid out to Emerald team. You can see in real time all the changes that are being made by the Phoenix devs, from Wiki&FAQ > Activity, at their official site:

Even from lay eyes like mine, you can see how they just finished putting in the replacement for the kdu.dll that LL has asked them not to use, and for the less than reliable openjpeg.dll, for instance. Notice that LordGregGreg, author of the other new TPVD entry Emerald clone, is taking an active part in the Phoenix development. It seems he's primarily continuing to scrutinize Phoenix for any remaining malicious code and other security threats, implementing the fixes he's put into Emergence. While some of you may still be wary of using any Emerald-derived viewer, see what these guys are doing right now, and judge for yourselves^^

さてさて、本題本題＾＾　エメ亡き後、後継の筆頭に挙げられるのは、やっぱりPhoenixでしょう。今回新たにリンデンラボの推薦ビュアに加えられた一つでもあるわけだけど、エメの代わりの本命も当然で、悪質なプログラムを全て排除したエメラルドR２５８７そのもの。たちの悪すぎる一部エメチームのことを考えると、エメ派生のビュアはちょっと、ってむきもあるかもだけど。現在のPhoenix開発はTPVのなかでもっとも透明といえるかもしれません。上のダウンロードサイトからWIKI&FAQのページから「活動」ってタブを見ると、作業内容がリアルタイムで見れます。あたしのような素人目から見ても、けっこう内容があるていど分かるように内容が説明されてますんで、時間があったら覗いてみてください。最新の更新では、問題になったKDU.DLLや性能に問題があったOPENJPEG.DLLに代わるプログラムを導入する過程が見られます。また、今回リンデン推奨を受けたもうひとつのエメ派生ビュアEmergenceの作者LordGregGreg氏もPhoenix開発に参加して、悪質プログラミングやその他疑わしいものを排除する作業頑張ってくれてる姿も見られます。どんなソフトでも言える事ですが、サードパーティビュアの使用は自己責任。Phoenix開発の現在の活動を自分の目で見て、ご判断ください＾＾　わたし個人としては、他のTPVビュアよりもむしろ安心できる通常ビャアとしてPhoenixを使っています＾＾　（だって公式V2ったら、クラッシュするは、ヅラがしょっちゅうずらされるずらの、使えないしｗ）

There are some strong contenders out there, even with features that Phoenix doesn't have yet. Like Imprudence, or Ascent. Ascent who? you ask? hehe, I'll get to that one in tomorrow's post =^.^=
And again, there's Kirstens with its powerful graffics. But as you can see in the UI screenshot above (friendly reminder: click for full size pics), Phoenix also has many of the same advanced controls as Kirstens, too^^ from Preference > Phoenix > Tab2
Well, the point is, Phoenix is a proven platform that we've all come to love^^

Linden Lab Development Team's Joe Linden announced the ban of all versions of the Emerald viewer from the SL Grid as of 10AM September 8 PST. Acting with unprecedented speed and decisiveness, Linden Lab also added three new viewers to their official Third Party Viewer Directory - Emergence by LordGregGreg, Phoenix by Jessica Lyons, LGG and the new Phoenix dev team, and Ascent an excellent alternative for builders and creators. Emergence/Phoenix are clean versions of Emerald, and brings you just about the entirety of the Emerald environment to you. Development of Phoenix (based on Emerald 2587)will continue, starting with an update for a few minor bugfixes within the next few days.

エメでは、１６３５リリースがＰＰＣ対応最後にバージョンと思われますが（ビュア２．０のアルファ機能とＴａｔｔｏｏレイヤ導入直前まで）、２５８７リリースがベースの新Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘでは残念ながらＰＰＣ非対応のようです。Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘのブログでは、ＰＰＣへの対応を切望するコメントもいくつか見られるのですが、、、
対応としては、旧公式ビュア１．２３がまだダウンロードできるはずなのと、開発者向け公式Ｓｎｏｗｇｌｏｂｅ１．５が未確認ですが利用可能かもしれません。
また、http://kirstensviewer.com/ からダウンロードできるＫｉｒｓｔｅｎｓＶｉｅｗｅｒがあります。最新バージョンのＳ２０は公式ビュア２．０ベースなので不可ですが、Ｏｌｄｅｒ　Ｄｅｐｒｅｃａｔｅｄ　Ｖｉｅｗｅｒｓ（旧バージョン）のダウンロードにある（否！現役ビュアとして置いてありました！）Ｓ１８までがＰＰＣ対応です。ダウンロードページでは、"Intel"の文字列があるバージョンと "Universal"の文字列が含まれるＰＰＣ対応バージョンの二つがありますので、お間違えなく＾－＾ｂ　Ｐｈｏｅｎｉｘあたりが１６３５ベースの対応バージョン出してくれればベストなんでしょうけど、緊急避難として、どぞ＾＾
For those of you on PowerPC Macs, the new Phoenix is based on Emerald 2587 and they won't work with PPC since Release 1635, just before alpha 2 and the tattoo layer were incorporated, so you will either have to revert to LL's Viewer 1.23 which is still available from the LL site, or go with KirstenLee's Kirstens Viewer S18 http://kirstensviewer.com/ Make sure you get the file that says "Universal" and not the one that says "Intel" in the filename. Kirstens is an excellent viewer, and I was preparing a review here while we were all waiting for the LL announcement - I hope to have that up sometime this week =^.~= People are asking the Phoenix devs for a PPC compatible release on Jessica's blog, too^^b

The September 3 deadline has arrived for Emerald to comply with SL rules, and it's not going to be met.

The Emerald Viewer is dead. (see backposts)

I hear that the Lindens are already prepping to block Emerald from Grid access, and to exact punitive measures to violatings devs. Likely, Linden Labs will give users some time before logins are denied, but it's the end.

So, I was busy taking a whole bunch of screenshots like this for this blog, introducing the features of alternative viewers, like my choice, LordGregGreg's Emergence http://lordgreggreg.wordpress.com/ (and thus the red allover, LOL, like GO LGG!!! Even getting into my naughtiest bikinis yet this Summer for max promotional effect X)

ここ数日の投稿でもお伝えして来ましたが、エメラルドビュアの開発チームの一部にＳＬ利用規定違反、ＧＮＵライセンス違反、不法行為が発覚したことに対して、リンデンラボ社はエメラルドに対して改善を勧告し、ＳＬ時間で９月３日の期限を通知。エメチームは事件の首謀者と思われる数名を残して、殆どのメンバーが既に離脱。期限を待たずに９月１日現在、リンデンの要請には回答しないことを宣言。従って、この先、エメラルドビュアはＳＬへのログインはブロックされる見通しです。すでにリンデンラボではその手続きや罰則措置の準備を進めているそうです。住人に対してはある程度の猶予期間が与えられ、直ぐにエメが使えなくなるということは多分無いでしょうが、これで本当にエメはお仕舞！ということです。
そこで、第３のビュアを探せーーー！ということで各ＴＰＶビュアの機能紹介を企画してたわけです。Ｉｍｐｒｕｄｅｎｃｅ、Ｋｉｒｓｔｅｎ、そして最新のエメから違法プログラムを全て洗浄した、元エメ開発者ＬｏｒｄＧｒｅｇＧｒｅｇさんのＥｍｅｒｇｅｎｃｅ。やっぱりエメ機能はいいっ！とメグ様一押しの意を込めて、この夏一の恥ずかしい出で立ちで真っ赤なＥｍｅｒｇｅｎｃｅビュアのＳＳバシャバシャとっていたら。。。。　きました！

The PHOENIX has arisen!!!

Ex-Emerald dev Jessica Lyon (see earlier posts here) announced on her blog http://jessicalyons.wordpress.com/ the start up of the Phoenix viewer, based on the last safe Release 2587, minus the illicit/malicious code.

LordGregGreg Back of Emergence has also joined this team, along with other ex-Emerald developers and new talent =^.^=

You get all the great features of Emerald in a clean, transparent package XD

The Phoenix viewer is already available for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms at their still-under-construction website: http://phoenixviewer.com:3000/

I installed it immediately, and have been fondling it, caressing it, and so many other loving things (blush*^-^*) with it for the last 12 hours or more =^.~= And its working great.
(It doesn't seem to have any fast texture loading KDU.dll in it, so I considered copying the LLKDU, but I haven't noticed any discomfort yet so as I think I'll leave it as it is for now^^)

The Phoenix Team has already submitted application for the Linden Lab Third Party Viewer Directory.

There are a lot more conspiracy allegations regarding Phox, Arabella &Co and their Emerald scrapings. There's a video of Phox plotting to spoof Emerald's identity to bypass Linden's attempts to ban/block the viewer in the final 2600 release. The AlphavilleHerald's Pixeleen Mistral confronts Phox in an exclusive interview http://alphavilleherald.com/2010/09/ over a "leaked" (by Phox and Arabella) log of conversations between Phox and Soft Linden suggesting LL's complicity in the emkdu scandal.... (what I see is more a picture of a very concerned LL trying to coax hints out of Phox regarding suspicious Emerald activities, especially after the leak of user information in previous months...) But it's okay.

Forget Emerald and the punks, let's just move on and on our way =^.^=

Coming up on this blog, I hope to show you more why I love this viewer, along with other great alternatives like Kirsten and Emergence (some features by LGG that don't seem t be implemented yet in Phoenix).

URGENT: EMERALD DEAD. CAUTION ON "LAST" RELEASE

The Emerald Viewer Development Team just announced the termination of the project.
In the end, only two devs remained, namely Annabella Steadham and Lonely Bluebird (aka Phox). Annabella blames Emerald's death on Linden Labs making demands that are "impossible to meet". In a prior post, they have reported that all of LL's demands were being met and approved by LL, with just two issues remaining to be solved. First, the demand that a release be made of an Emerald version that does not use either emkdu.dll or llkdu.dll: Annabella says that part was do-able. Then what was the one "impossible", unreasonable LL demand that just crossed the line? The removal of the three remaining devs with known involvement in the illegal activities in complicity with Fractured Crystal: Lonely Bluebird (Phox), Skills Hak, and Discrete. Skills and Discrete have resigned gracefully, so the last impossible hurdle to LL compliance was Phox - I simply find it incredible that he was still on the team in the first place.

As a result, Emerald will not be meeting the compliance deadline of Friday, 3 September, 2010, that Linden Lab to initiate procedures BANNING Emerald from the Grid. Effectively, Emerald is dead.

In the final Emerald blogpost, Annabella also blames Jessica Lyon for leading an attempted "hostile takeover" of the project. What Jessica and other devs were doing, simply, was demanding the resignation of Lonely Bluebird in order to save the Emerald project. Jessica and the devs resigned as of September 1, after Lonely's refusal to leave. All devs and staff except for Annabella and Phox have subsequently denied access to Emerald servers.

Jessica Lyon has created a blog http://jessicalyon.wordpress.com/ where she explains what really happened, along with logs of the encounter with Phox, and the correspondences between Emerald dev and Linden Labs, making good on her earlier promise to reveal to us the full scope of Linden Lab's demands. IMPORTANT:
Phox and Annabella have also released the final version of the Emerald viewer that is available on the Emerald site. This is NOT the 2587 release that I was talking about in my earlier post, where strides were being made to comply with Linden TOS and TPV requirements. This version is Phox's final release, with no reviews or checks either by other Emerald devs or Linden Lab. Use it (or even go to the download page) at your own risk, only if you trust Phox/Lonely Bluebird. JUST IN CASE: THE MOST RECENT "LAST" EMERALD RELEASE IS NOT SAFE (AT LEAST IN THE OPINION OF MEGG ENZO). DO _NOT_ DOWNLOAD!

FOR A CLEANED, SAFE EMERALD EXPERIENCE, try the EMERGENCE viewer, provided by LordGregGreg Back, who left the Emerald team earlier in protest to the activities of Fractured Crystal, Phox, etal. He has taken the trouble to clean this release of any illegal or questionable code within the limited time he can allow, now that he's moving on to a new project. We don't know how Linden Lab's demand for "a viewer that doesn't use emkdu.dll or llkdu.dll" applies to Emergence, as it's based on Emerald R2270+alpha and optionally downloads llkdu.dll. However, with Emergence, you get the same Emerald experience as with beta release 2270 (the last working release prior to the dubious 2578 and the "last" release) and then some.

昨夜のアップを終えてすやすや寝てる間にエメ事情に急展開がありました。
エメラルドチーム代表AnnabellaSteadmanがエメラルドプロジェクト終焉を宣言。直近の発表ではリンデンラボから改善要求のうち、２点を除いて全てクリアとのことでしたが。この残り２点のうち１点が「超えられないハードル」となったようです。従って、ラボが設定した９月３日の回答期限をまたずに、エメラルドプロジェクトに幕をひくとのこと。
最後にクリアできなかったハードルとは、
かかる違反行為に加担が認められているメンバーの排斥。PhoxことLonely Bluebird、Skills Hak、Discrete の３名について、リンデン側の検討の結果、エメラルドからの排斥は免れない。SkillsとDiscreteは、エメを救うためにはやむをえないと、いさぎよく辞任。最後エメ存続の前に一人立ちはだかったのは、Phox。
Annabellaがアップした終焉宣言では、リンデンの「不可能な要求」とならんでエメ終了の原因にJessica Lyonが他のメンバーを先導してエメプロジェクトの乗っ取りを画策したといってるんですけどね。Jessicaさんは、事態発覚以来、ひとり冷静にリンデンラボとの折衝を続けていて、最後にリンデンラボから突きつけられた最終回答に基づいてLonelyBluebird／Phoxと談判、辞任を促すもののPhoxはかたくなに拒否。自ら退かないとあらば、どうにか強制的にでも去ってもらう以外エメの存続は無いとメンバーの間で頭を悩ませていたことをAnnabellaは謀議と。最終的にはAnnabellaとPhoxを残してJessicaはじめ主要全員辞任。というかAnnabellaとPhox以外全員エメサーバから締め出しｗ

JessicaLyonはブログ　http://jessicalyon.wordpress.com/ を立ち上げ、エメからの辞任宣言とともにPhox退陣要請をめぐる一部始終を公表。J＞「辞任してくれないとエメは完全に終わるって分かってるんでしょ？」　P＞「ああ。でもそんなこと俺には関係ないね。どっちにしろ俺がいなければエメは死ぬだるしｗ」　J＞「辞めてくれないの？」　P＞「いやだ」　などと延々とごね続けるログもｗ
また、数日前のエメブログ発表で、リンデンラボの交渉の進行状況をJessicaさんが、あと一歩と報告してましたが、いずれ全て内容を伝えるといってた約束通り、リンデンとの実際の交渉内容をブログで公表。リンデンから通知された要求は５点で、いずれも当然ともいえるもの：

１．開発過程すべてに及ぶ透明性　（ソースの公表など）
２．参加開発者のリアル正体をリンデンラボに登録すること。そしてLL規約違反、リアル法違反にかかわったメンバーの排斥
３．GPLライセンスに違反しているemkdu.dllの削除。近日中にemkdu.dllを使用しない、ライセンス規約遵守のエメバージョンをリリースすること。
４．プライバシーポリシーの提示。どのような場合、どのようなユーザー情報が、どのような目的で収集されるのか、具体的に明示。
５．今回発覚したエメの違法性の一つで、kduの機能を悪用してアバのテクスに暗号化したユーザー情報を焼きこむような行為の禁止。（エメがインストールされているユーザのDirectoryPathまで、簡単な解析で、各アバから読み取れちゃう隠し機能をPhox／Fracturedたちはエメビュアに忍ばせていた）

これらすべてクリアすべく、達成スケジュールをエメチームはリンデンに提出。リンデン側も、２点を除いて、これを承諾。リンデンがつけてきた注文が、前に述べたemkdu.dllを使わない（使えない）バージョンのリリースを提示スケジュールよりも早く達成することと、「超えられない壁」のPhox辞任だったわけですね。

これが超えられないために、９月３日以降、リンデンラボとしては、Emeraldを悪質ビュアとしてSLにログインできない措置を実施せざるを得ない、という状況になりました；＿；

でも、やっぱりエメって最高のビュアでしたよねぇ
前の投稿で、少なくとも２割のSL住人がエメって話しましたが、これはもっとも控えめな推定で、毎日ログインしてるSL住人でいえば、少なくとも３割から５割超とも言われてます。

なおさらエメに変わるサードパーティビュアが欲しいところですが、
やはり筆頭にあげられるのが　Imprudence
そして、エメの便利機能ほとんどそのままにエメの最終進化系から、悪質ソフトや他の疑わしい機能を排除したLordGreggregさんのEmergence
（emkduもllkduも使えないビュアというリンデンの要求の真意が気になるとこですけど）

今後もImprudenceとEmergence中心に新ビュアの情報をここでお伝えできればと考えています＾＾
またJessicaさんをはじめ、まっとうなエメ開発者たちの間では、今後も開発を続けていく意欲かなりあるようですので、JessicaさんやLordGregGregさんのブログも、これから要チェックです。ちょっと期待したいところです＾＾

重要！
エメ終焉宣言と同時に、PhoxがEmeraldViewer最終バージョンと銘打ったリリースを開始していますが、これはLL規定準拠とは思われず、Phox以外誰もチェックを入れた無いため、非常に不安なしろものです。
直前の私の投稿で取り上げたRelease２５８７とは、別ものなので、くれぐれも注意してください！

連日のエメ関連水着関連投稿です　SS、クリックで大きくなるよ＾＾、

....for what I think is the majority of us right now, who are probably trying to cold-turky off of Emerald, and too wary even to check the latest posts on the modularsystem blog -yes, launching Emerald still takes you there, where Fractured and pals were highjacking user accesses for their attempted DoS attack on Hazim Kazov's site.

　Well, like I said here last week, they have a new open beta release 2587 available from their site emeraldviewer.net, but there were immediate issues reported with the Windows version: like why is the outlawed emkdu.dll still in the package? or, why does it keep failing to install?

Yesterday, the Emerald Devs explained:

+ emkdu.dll is no longer included in the latest 2587 release or in any distributions after August 20.
+ however, Windows keeps trying to fetch the file from other directories, or from your Temporary files.
+ the solution is to find all the emkdu.dll file/s that are still in your computer, using Advanced Search and delete them.
+ although Emerald will run fine without the kdu, using the openjpeg.dll, but it would be slower, so you can also opt to use LL's llkdu.dll, which you can copy from the Second Life 1.23 Viewer or from Snowglobe 1.5. The llkdu.dll from Viewer 2.0 will NOT work with Emerald.

エメ使用を自粛してると、ログイン画面からのブログアップデートも見なくなっちゃいますよね。。。　なにしろ、ユーザーのアクセスを拝借して問題となったDDOS攻撃に使用したっていうModularSystemのサイトのまんまだし＾＾；

先日お伝えしたように、最新ベータR２５８７がリリースされましたが、リンデンラボが配布禁止したはずのemkdu.dllがまだあるじゃめいか？＠＠　それ以前にWin版上手くインストールできないなど、不安いっぱいでしたが、昨日エメチームからこのことについて説明がありましたんで、おつたえしときます

ラボからの指示に従って、８月２０日以降の配布には、問題のemkdu.dllは含まれていません。新リリースにもｋｄｕは入っていません。ただし、Windows版では、Ｗｉｎが勝手に不足ファイルと判断して他のＤｉｒやＴｅｍｐｏｒａｒｙＦｉｌｅから探し出してきちゃうとのことですｗ　従って、ＰＣ内に残ってる全てのemkdu.dllを削除し
なくちゃだそうです。高度な献策（AdvancedSearch）を使って探してくださいと。
現在配布中のWin版では、emkdu.dllを見つけると自動的に削除するFixを加えたけど、それでもなお、上手くいかない場合があるので、お手数ですが手動で削除してください、と。

また高速にテクスを読み込むためのｋｄｕがないと、遅くなるので、リンデンラボのLLKDU.DLLを入れるのがお薦め。但し、新世代のビュア2.0のは、使えないので今でもリンデンラボから配布されてるV1.23のものか、開発用Snowglobe1.5に入ってるllkdu.dllをお使いください＾＾

あ、LordGregGregさんのEmergenceだとリンデンラボ純正のllkdu.dll、インストールの際、自動的にDLしてくれるよ＾＾

昨日エメチームからの報告によると、リンデンラボから要求されている改善、７項目提示されたうち、プライパシーポリシーの提示なの５つまでは達成、っていってるけど。

okay, so that was a quick brief on Emerald updates (as in, so, can I trust them yet? I'm doing just fine for now with Imprudence and Emergence, ty=^.^= ), and the second installment of the Coco swimwear =^.^= It was a bit more than Hikari can handle, so I brought in Aska to fill in. Fill in she did, but not much fabric to do it in, LOL

Emerald Alternatives

Okay, so I (or my alt) was hanging around the :SEY store this afternoon, and at one point, of the dozen or so ppl visiting us, one Viewer2.0, one Imprudence, and all the rest were green as Emeralds..... so bear with us through another Emerald-related post ;p

Emerald came up with a new Public Beta Release 2587. But no release notes, or explanations, especially as regards to the emkdu.dll file contained in the package. What's more, people are reporting that the Windows version doesn't pass the mustard, hon, with Norton Anti-Virus. Well, maybe the lack of release notes can be explained that there are matters that are too sensitive atm vis-a-vis Linden Lab. Or that they can't explain the removal of malicious code without admitting guilt, LOL. In any case the purported author of the code, Phox, is still on the Emerald Team.....

So, until everything is cleared up, I've started looking for alternatives =^.^=　I haven't even bothered to download the new release. Or should I say, too chicken and sassy to do so? LOL

と、いうことで、エメなくしてSLいきてけない、、、でも今のままじゃ信用できない、、、と、SLから足が遠ざかりつつあるみなさん

ちょーっとまったー！！　　てことで、今回はエメに変わるビュアもちょっと見てみましょう＝＾。＾＝　V2.0？なんでぃすか、それ？ｗ

The alternative Third Party Viewer that's first on the list is Imprudence. It also tops the list on LL's TPV Directory, and you can get it here:

This viewer has a very good trackrecord, offers many of the features that got you hooked on Emerald, and above all, has a reputation for transparency.

At first sight, it doesn't look very impressive - what you see is what just looks like the old LL Viewer 1.2 - no "Imprudence" menu on the menubar, nonesuch either in Preferences. It's just that all the cool features are integrated into the regular set of menus. Activate Advanced menu with just Ctrl+Alt+D or from
the View Menu. You get double-click TP or autopilot from Preferences > Camera&Input, where you can also toggle off Camera Constraints. But Ethel? Where's the Radar? Try opening up the enhanced MiniMap =^.^= that you can double click on for TP too. All very natural when you come to think about it. Breast physics is a bit more challenging tho. You will have to go to the bottom of the Advanced Menu > Debug Settings and manually input your settings from the EmeraldBreastsXXX entries - but that shouldn't be all that much of a big deal considering the benfits, LOL. As for multiple attachment points, Imprudence doesn't have that yet, but for a very good reason. The Emerald dual attachment is said to use a hack, but Linden Lab is currently working on a bonafide multiple attachments - as a matter of fact five for each point, as well as five per clothing layer, including tatoos. The new LL attachments are already working in the Test World awaiting near future release^^ Imprudence is going with that one.

エメに代わるビュアとして注目されてるのが、Imprudence＾＾　上のリンクからゲットできます＾＾　けっこう歴史もあって、信頼性も高いビュアなんですけど、エメと同じ機能を多く備えてます。エメみたいにメニューバーや環境設定で独自のメニューでひけらかすのではなく、旧純正１．２ビュアの顔をして、実は凄いんですｗ自然な形で各メニューの中に組み込まれてるんですねぇ＾＾　AdvanceMenuはAlt+Ctrl+Dか、ビューメニューから。エメのダブクリでTPか目的地にオートてちてちの機能は環境設定のカメラと入力（かな？Camera&Input）の下のほう、CameraConstraintの解除もここにあります。エメでは下のトレーについてるレーダーは、インプレデンス独自の強化版ミニマップに統合されてるます。ミニマップをダブクリでその位置にTPなんかもできます＾＾　エメのオッパイぽよよんだってあります＾＾　これはちょっとむずくて、AdvanceMenuの下のほうにあるDebugSettingから、プルダウンでEmeraldBreastsXXXって項目を探して、各パラを手動で入力しなきゃだけど、オッパイのためならそのくらいの手間わｗｗｗ　複数装着については、エメのは荒業を使って無理やりだってことで、現在ラボが開発中の純正複数プリム装着複数レーヤを、リリース次第導入するそうです。これはプリム装着点、レイヤーごとに５点まで装着できるってもので、他のビュアからみても「いやーこのひと！頭の上にお◎ん◎んつけてあるいてる＠＠目を合わせちゃいけません！」なーんてことにもならなず、現在リンデンのテストワールドでリリース直前らしいです＾＾　Imprudence、慣れるまでちょっといろいろ自分で探検しなきゃだけど、それはそれでけっこう新鮮で楽しんでます

It also shows you Phox's role in the current scandal. Fractured is gone, but Phox is still with Emerald....

Okay, Lordgreggreg's Emergence viewer is actually just a clone of the Emerald 2270 Beta Release, minus the malware, and I can also see that LGG has taken the trouble of fixing all possibilities of datamining. He says he's not going to be doing any upgrades, or trying to develop this as a new viewer, and has already taken up a new position leading the dev team for VirtualAbility.org, an organization trying to make SL more accessible to the handicapped. But with so many Emerald users being left out in the ditch, he's volunteered his time and sweat to provide us with a safe Emerald experience. Thanks LGG =^.^= and wish you the very best at your new challenge!

I am sincerely grateful for Emergence, because Release2270 is the last stable version that came out before the later un-released 2439, and 2270 comes with the new alpha2 and tattoo layer whereas the previous 1635. I'm right back at home with the viewer that I've been accustomed to for the last several months =^.^= I'm currently logging in with Emergence mainly, and also exploring all the valves and buttons on Imprudence, where I have a feeling, we'll all be in a few months time ^.~

もう一つの選択肢としてあげられるのは、元エメチームのLordGregGregさんが、エメの最終リリースの２２７０から違法部分を排除してリリースしたEmergenceです。問題のemkduは使わず、セットアップでリンデン純正のllkduを自動D/Lする仕組みです（llkduは第三者ビュアと一緒に配布禁止、純正ビュアのディレクトリからコピーしたものをサードパーティビュアで使うのはOK。Mac版エメの場合LibemkduもしくはLibemkdu.dylibを削除、リンデン純正のものと交換。）

このEmergenceのベースになってる２２７０ベータは、２４３９ベータ問題多発で取り下げられたままだったので、事件前最後のエメということになるんですが、私もずっとつかっていて、凄い安定してます＾＾　それに、それいぜんの１６３５ではまだ入ってなかったアルファ２対応とタトゥ対応。昨日リリースされたベータ以外だと、唯一対応してるエメってことですね。

エメが再び信頼できるようになるまで、もしくはImprudenceになれるまで、エメユーザにとっては、いままでどおりの環境でSLしてられる、大変ありがたいEmergenceですっ！D/Lは上のグーグルURLから。

また、その下のURLのブログでは、LordGreggregさんがエメを離脱した理由を説明してます。Emkduの問題が発覚して、作者のPhoxに問いただし、削除を要求するログ。「分かった、もう削除した」といいながら、見てみたらまだあった。再び対峙したら、今度は暗号化して隠してた。現エメリーダのアナベラも交えて、「もう絶対にないね？安全宣言して大丈夫だね？」と約束したにもかかわらず。。。。

そしてPhoxは、現在もエメチームに。

LordGregGregしは、今後Emergenceビュアを改良、あらたに開発していくことは無いといってます。あくまでも、これまでのエメユーザが行き場を失うのは申し訳ないからということでのリリースだそうです。現在は、http://virtualability.org/　という障害者のためのSL環境を改善していこうという団体で、開発リーダの仕事を始めてます。感謝感謝とともに、新しい出発、是非応援したいものですね＾＾

Clearing up a few things up about the Emerald viewer from the previous post, and recapping the latest word from the Emerald devs,
Again, you will not be banned for using Emerald at this time, but you may be blocked from logging into the SL Grid in the future, if Emerald fails to meet the requirements set down by Linden Labs, and Emerald is deemed a rogue viewer.

For one thing, LL wants removed from the Emerald directory the emkdu.dll file, where Fractured Crystal had embedded his illicit code. Accordingly, Emerald Dev is asking users to: with Emerald viewer closed, go to the Emerald directory and simply delete emkdu.dll. You can check the Emerald (Modular Systems) blog for details, but just brief explanations here - this is a closed source dll responsible for downloading textures faster and more efficiently - probably part of the stuff that makes Emerald significantly faster and more stable than Viewer 2. So removing it throws you back to the default dll, and makes the Emerald very slow; some people also reporting the viewer crashing after deleting emkdu.dll. So for now, Emerald Dev Team is just suggesting that you remove it on your discretion, and for the time being, Linden Lab is not blocking your login if you still have the file in your directory.

Well, you don't want that security compromise sitting around in your PC, but with so many eyes on the Emerald team and the Emerald server right now, you might consider emkdu.dll safe enough to keep around until its replacement comes around ;p But then again, LL doesn't want older versions of their own texture-loading llkdu.dll around either - so maybe there's a common, dangerous security weakspot.

More, Nelson Jenkins responded to Pixeleen's article with an excellent timeline of the things that have been happening within the Emerald Dev Team. Very informative about what this is all about. Crossposted as "Nelson Jenkins - Why Would Anyone Trust These Emerald Guys?"

We'll just have to decide for ourselves, I guess....
But with Viewer 2.0 being such a horrid alternative... hmmm
(By the way, these are all Megg Enzo's views, and do not necessarily reflect those of Risey Arai or others on the SEY staff - Risey uses Viewer 2.0 more regularly, and Comet is an Emerald user like myself)

While upcoming releases promise such attractions like multiple attachments (five on each point).... and er, what else.... BYGAD! Can't they do something about that horrible interface? LOL

Meanwhile, Imprudence is often suggested as an excellent Emerald replacement. Fully opensource and that much more transparent.
And Lord Greggreg (leading developer who left the Emerald Team just before all this blew out, apparently over differences with Fractured and the team regarding these very matters) has started up his own project called Emergence, taking up where Emerald left off as of the last beta release, and promising transparency.

金曜日までにその進行スケジュールを提出
とりあえず、今回の問題の中心となっているファイルemkdu.dllの削除をリンデンは要求
これは、テクスチャの読み込みを高速化するエメ独自のDLLで（リンデン版はlldku.dll)
、エメが純正ビュアに比べて高速なキモな部分なのかもしれませんね。
emdku.dllの削除には、まず必ずエメを閉じた状態から、エメのディレクトリに行って削除。
なのですが、これが無いともの凄～～～く遅くなり、エメの高速性能というメリットがさっぱり無くなってしまうどころか直ぐクラッシュするとか報告も多発してるようです。
そこで、エメデブも「削除が望ましい」といいながらも、各自のご判断でお願いします、と。エメ自体の使用も自己責任でお願いします。と、いってます。追って説明しますが、重大なセキュリティ問題がありながらも、やっぱしこれないと、困るってとこなんでしょうかねぇ？＾＾；　
リンデンラボも、現時点でemkdu.dllがディレクトリに残っていても、ユーザのログインをブロックしたりはしないそうです。ましてや、エメ使用でバンされると、いうのは完全にデマですので。
今後、勧告された改善がスケジュールどおりに達成されない場合、有害ビュアと指定され、ログインが出来なくなる、ということです。

さてさて、今回の騒ぎがどういことかつうと。

エメのブログなどでは具体的なことがほとんど伝えられてないですが。The Alpha Heraldの記事Emerald Viewer Mutinyが、エメデブ主幹だったFracturedが辞任する日曜日前後の状況を報道。また、それにコメントするかたちで投稿されたNelson Jenkinsさんの記事が、事件の詳細を時系列で分かりやすく伝えています　こちら↓

このネルソンさん、ごく最近までの内部事情を非常に具体的に把握してるところも注目ですね。

内容を要訳すると、
元主幹のFractured Crystal（１８歳）は、少なくとも今年１月から、ユーザのSL名やIPアドレスをエメのサーバに転送するハッキングを行い、かねてからライバル関係にあったハッカーたちの攻撃に使用。内部告発により一般ユーザ数万人分データの存在が露呈（このリストはIPアドレスを伏してアバ名だけのかたちでTheAlphaHerald公開、５月ログにあります）。敵対ハッカーへの攻撃には、不発に終わったものの、NeilLifeのサイトにDDoS攻撃を加えてパンクさせるなど（NeilLifeは、あのコピーボットビュアで、全クリエータの宿敵でわあるんですけどねｗ）で、SLのTOS違反で、アメリカではリアル懲役６年の犯罪イギリスでは１０年とかで、非常に悪質。そして今回、エメ固有ファイルのemkdu.dllにFracturedが埋め込んだハックによりIPアドレスだけでなく、さまざまなユーザ情報が流出する可能性が発覚。
で、この事態を受けて、現エメデブチームおよびエメそのものを、どう見るべきなのか。。。
現行エメデブチームを見ると、
事態発覚の直前に離反した主要メンバーのLordGregGreg氏は、emkdu.dllの問題に気付き、Fracturedと対立、現在はエメをベースにした新ビュアEmergenceを立ち上げ中とのこと。
なんらかの内部対立が生じていることは、数週間前からエメブログでも垣間見えていたけど。
事件発覚に前後して先週末にかけて現エメデブリーダーAnnabella氏はじめとするメンバーの殆どが離脱を宣言、Fractured完全孤立で、日曜日に辞任。今後エメから完全に関係を絶ち、サーバの管理をAnnabellaに譲ることを発表（だって、展開によっては犯罪者だもんね＾＾；）　そして現在のメンバーが残ったということなんですが。。。。Fracturedの共犯と思われるメンバーも残ってるじゃないか、などなど、指摘されています。
んで、リンデンラボは。Philip社長なのは、そんなハッカー集団もエメもバンしたれーとか発言してるようですが、開発など現場は現エメチームと協力して健全化に、って姿勢も見受けられ。各ブログなどに寄せられる観測みてても、「コアユーザ中心に実質SL人口の少なくとも２０％は使ってると推定されるエメビュア、バンしたら多くがSL自体やめてく」心配、純正ビュア２の不評、不安定、不足など、リンデンラボもじゅうぶん認識してるから、おのずと甘くなるんじゃないかと。リンデン開発のカリスマもクビになってエメチームな早速鞍替えしてるしねｗ
いあ～、ビュア２がねぇ。んんん、もうちょっと使えればねぇ。。。
メグ様としては、セキュリティ問題抱えたままのエメとemkdu.dllそのまま使ってますけど。
（だって今日も、２．０あらためて見直してみたげようと、最新バージョンにアップして開いてみたら、早々にクラッシュだもんねぇ　　ふぅ）
ま、選択肢としては、エメ愛用者も納得、透明性も売り、と薦められてるビュアのImprudenceや、前述LordGreggregのEmergenceがどんなふうになるのか。。。。て、とこですか。

About the Emerald Viewer

Well, it's no secret, I, Megg, am a diehard Emerald fan. But, as I suppose like many of you, I've been very troubled about the recent turmoil among the Emerald dev team. You can read about all this in the Modular Systems blog, so I'm not going into details here. Just that dev team leader and Modular owner Fractured Crystal admitted to infractions warranting his resignation and dissociation hereafter from Emerald. They have apparently brought the matter to Linden Lab's attention, and Emerald has been removed from LL's Third Party Viewers Directory for the time being.

RUMORS immediately went round that the Emerald Viewer was now deemed illicit by LL and that users were going to be banned for using it. Of course, this is NOT the case - a viewer does not have to be listed in the LL TPVD to be legitimate. Granted you still may have concerns about Emerald's integrity, and you will have to judge for yourselves after hearing what Annabella and the remaining developers have to tell us, but at least you can rest assured that you WILL NOT be banned for using Emerald.

Personally, I'm still logging in regularly with Emerald, because I think it's by far the best available atm. I log in with Viewer2 as well, to keep up with what's new, but I just can't get to like it's counter-intuitiveness.... a few analogies just came to mind, but I'll keep this blog PG, lol.

最近どたばたのエメですが、主要メンバーが抜け、直近ではリーダでＭｏｄｕｌａｒＳｙｓｔｅｍｓ主幹のＦｒａｃｔｕｒｅｄが辞任。理由は、ログイン画面からユーザ情報を取得するコードを密かに加えていたというもの。噂ではあった話ですが。（現在は修正され心配はもうないと言ってますけど）　んで、結果エメは、リンデンラボのサードパーティ・ビュア名簿からとりあえず辞退、ＦｒａｃｔｕｒｅｄおよびＭｏｄｕｌａｒから完全決別。エメのサーバは近日中新ドメインの取得など、しばらくは移行期間ご不便ご容赦くださいとのことです。

リンデンのリストから外されたということで　＝非公認＝不法＝使うとバンされるぞ！との噂が当初広まりましたが、その心配は一切ありません。リンデンブログに公表されているＴＰＶＤリストは、あくまでも自己申請で、リンデンの公認というわけではありませんので、すくなくともＢＡＮなどの心配はありません。

エメラルドビュアに関しては、この事態が発生する前に、ここで紹介しようと思ってところだったんですが。リンデンラボ開発チームで、Ｓｃｕｌｐｔｙ実装の最大貢献者で、ＦｌｅｘＳｃｕｌｔｐｙ開発中、それと今話題になってるポリゴンＭｅｓｈＩｍｐｏｒｔの開発担当者ＱａｒｌＦｉｚｚさんが、今月突然リンデンを解雇になって、先週からエメラルド開発チームに参加。なんか面白いこと色々やってくれそうで、期待大＾－＾　なのですが、そうなるとポリゴンインポートってどうなちゃうんだろ？との不安もウラハラきすけです。テストワールドでは既に実装されてて、２ＳＩＭ分の巨大オブジェクトとか。また可能性としてはポリゴン装着で全身整形とか＾＾　ヒザ下みじけーーーーーＴ＿Ｔなんて少女のお悩み解決のはずなのですが。。。
またエメ情報ありましたら、ここでお伝えしてこうと考えてますけど、みなさんも、何か新情報とか、それ間違ってるよってあればＭｅｇｇＥｎｚｏまでおつたえくださいね^^

Vacation in Bakumatsu

oh yeah. So I was doing the usual tourist things in the Bakumatsu Region (see previous Horror Night post :)

The featured dress: the girly and so Summer-y We Love Lace from u.f.o (ur favorite one) by Charming Meiler, and the YumYum straw hat (one of my favorites since last year, and not the new Straw Hat that a lot of people have asked me about in our FlipFlops Necklace poster). The bunny mask is also from YumYum - I found that at the Summer Festival celebrating the renewal of the iTuTu SIM, our former neighbors, remember?^^

In front of the main gate of Kyoto's Shimabara, which along with Tokyo's Yoshiwara, reigned as the classiest legal brothels disctricts in Japan until the 19th century. Unlike the Geisha who see themselves first as performing artists, the women who worked here took pride in their profession, providing quality intimacy to the highest paying clientele ^.~

You will find many references to prostitution here, but it's not just that these brothels are an important part of the period culture, they became the stages for some of the most critical turning points in history.

As dusk falls once again over Shimabara, in her chamber, she counts the lanterns being lighted, one and then another. But she will soon loose interest, and going back to lazily toying with her candied apricot....

The masts you see are those of Kanrin-maru, the steamed powered sailship that took Katsu Kaishu on his emissary voyage to America. The entourage included many young men who would later become the architects of Modern Japan, including Fukuzawa Yukichi, the founder of Keio University.

These last two shots feature the LF Top set within the :SEY LF package. It's one of our earliest items, and I've had these since way before joining :SEY. I love it, and I think it's a classic, although I think Risey would have done it even better now. But then, this piece is from happier times when we didn't have to worry about copybots and stuff, so they're manually editable prim by prim. Here, I just changed the transparency a bit for Windlight, but you can do a lot more fitting and mix-matching old school style =^.^=b

Risey's back inworld again.

Risey's back I said, but HEEEY, that's _MY_ back exposed in lieu of our apologies, LOL =^.~= Or more accurately, it's my Alt Aska Mikoyan's derriere for you (feel free to IM Aska with inquiries if you find her online instead of me - people tell me I'm spending more time inworld these days as Aska)

Risey promoted me to :sey Bikini Manager, expecting a lot more of these bikinish posts this Summer. The problem is, I wanted something :sey with each post. But pondering over how to justify these non-sequitur posts.... Geeez!!! we're already near halfway through August already!!!

So, I'm just going into total bimbo mode, and start posting before Summer's over and live up to the expectations of Risey and Friends =^.^=

And I'm starting with this Summer's new release from Madi's Secrets, because that was my first stop on my swimwear buying spree this year. The reason is simple - Madilyn Ling is that good with clothing layer mapping.

You know how a clothing layer could look real good when you're static, but the lines turn all jaggedy and wiggly, and colors bleeding all over your thighs soon as you start shifting poses? Notice how there's minimal distortion with the all-important bra and garter straps in this peekaboo styling with Nomine's see-through milkmaid dress over Madi's lingerie. You can understand how bad mapping can really be disasterous for swimwear.

I love showing off delicate lingerie from under other clothing pieces like this, or more frequently under mannish clothing. I actually did a session to show you samples of the latter with our K.D.Vest over Madi's lingerie - but sorry kiddies, I wasn't able to keep them PG enough for this blog, LOL. Well, maybe you might see them when I'm stone drunk or otherwise immersed in bimbo starlet mode... at least for a few hours til I sober out^.~

Waddya know? Turns out this post isn't all that un:sey after all. Like Madi, Risey always stresses the importance of the clothing layer, although people applaud him more often for his sculpted parts. He says he spends a huge amount of time perfecting the clothing maps and textures.

And lately, she got hold of a full SIM that she could work on for a couple of weeks to realize many of her new designs - this time around, a lot of surreal looking rock formations inspired by the World Heritage coastline of Halong Bay, Vietnam, or the river gorges of Guilin, China. Too bad, she didn't have much time with this SIM for open exhibition. But she's always on the look out for SIMs or regions that she can landscape - got any vacant space to spare for a while?=^.^= I'm sure she's also open to inquiries about landscaping contracts as well.

Now, Risey is pretty adamant that these new sandals are a Men's Only item. True, I know that Risey's been obsessed with feet for some time. I don't know about his fetishes, but it really bothered him how the sculpted men's feet he came across inworld all looked so feminine - like they were just stretched out bigger.

So, he's been working on this one ever since.

Risey keeps saying it just won't look right on girls.

About Controller HUD and Delete Script HUD

■ Please make sure you have a safe backup of the original first.
■This item meant only to be worn/attached. Please attach to yourself.

☛ About the "Controller HUD" functions
➷ Presets… preset skin colors of the prim feet.
➷ Color Picker… pick any color from the pallet, to tune the skin color of prim feet.
➷ Current color
➷ Save…save skin colors up-to three.
To save the current color, click one of the three triangular buttons.
To indicate a saved color as the current one, click the circular button.
➷ Nails…change the Nail color.
➷ Resize menu…show the Resize menu. Change the size, with the blue menu.

==== About Resize FUNCTIONS ====
After touching a prim you will get the question, This prim or All prims. Easy right. Do you want to modify this child prim only or the whole object.
["Scale +1%", "Scale -1%", "Revert"]
This Prim->Scale +1% This will increase this single prim in size by 1%
This Prim->Scale -1% This will decrease this single prim in size by 1%
This Prim->Revert If you made a little mistake on this single prim, this will revert it back to the settings you bought your object with.
All Prims->Pose->Start Well, this allows you to strike the same pose you would normally be in when editing appearance. Quite usefull to keep standing still without the use of a pose stand.
All Prims->Pose->Stop Tired of standing still after pressing start? This will snap you back out of the pose.

ジャケットレイヤーがなけりゃテクスチェンジで出せたんだけども；
今回は単色売りになりました。なんかｽｲﾏｾん
今回のﾏｷﾏｷはスソが広がってて　ジャケットレイヤータイプもあるんで前のよりは動きに強ﾒで形的にもあわせやすいかな----?と思います
ポケットの位置が合わない方は地道にthis primをmoveで調整してくだし
レイヤータイプだとかなりｻｹﾞ気味で着れると思います

Any one reported logging on with banned software features are gone very very fast. All they have to do is check the logs for confirmation. And if you use the Emerald's Radar, for instance, you know how easy it is to identify what viewer youre using. It's also pretty easy to hear the chatter the rogue bots and viewers make. So, if anyone hands you a rogue viewer, don't ever use it, no matter how curious a kitty you might be

Crawlers! Because Spring is right around the corner is why?
It's like you want something to keep the sometimes still chilly winds out, but hey, it's getting plenty warm, wtf, I'll just wear it on bare skin =^.~= is the way Risey sees this piece.
Well, her highness Megg's been watching the Winter Games, and she sees it more like apres ski, just out of a hot soak in the tub, something you toss on lazily in lieu of a bathrobe, heading out for some quality time in front of the fireplace^^

Once again, this item comes with a range of prim options, created separately for male and female shapes. They're boxed separately, too, so you can open them up into different folders.

There's a backprint version, and a plain back version.
You can go with or without the stripes on your sleeves.
A tighter or looser fit - girls might prefer the looser silhouette shirt layer because it won't cling unnaturally to your tummy below your bust. But either way, Risey's spent a lot of time to map out the shirt layer and bottom prim textures to blend naturally with any combination, worn low or high^^
Well, experiment, and find the fit that you like =^.^=

Use the menu for resizing the prims in your current wardrobe, and delete the script when you're done. Just make sure you keep a copy of the original somewhere safe^^b That way, you can always come back for another resize after a bit too many beers and pizzas. Yes, :SEY strives to be your carb-safe brand of choice! LOL

最近海外ではこのスクリでﾊﾞｼﾊﾞｼボッターを生け捕りにしてる例をよく見るんだよね
このスクリでコピーボットを完全阻止できるわけじゃないけど　実際今んﾄｺ結果を出してる有効な手段ではある。
盗作が以前より手軽に出来るから犯罪意識が無く(あっても楽しーんﾀﾞﾛね)『コピーライト無いｼｨ～』ってﾉﾘで身内で配布し合ってんのが現状　サークルとかあるし

最近ボットにびびってＤＥＭＯとか出せないんだけど　形的にも履きやすいです

Our first clothing release in about three months,
here's an all-sculpted, single-attachment vest
in four basic designs, each with five color variations,
for a total choice of 20 style variations.
Both male and female sizes are included.
Fatpacks (except for the "A" Skull Snows) include
the five color variations as well as menued color-change
versions for both guys and girls.

Risey's spent a lot of time on this release, struggling with the quirks
of SL's body shape, putting all the elements together into a single
attachment package - and look Ma! no glitches either!
He always says that his foremost concern in designing men's clothing
often boils down to making the back look good.
And I think he's pretty satified with this one, though he says that he
would have streamlined the back silhouette even more if it wasn't
for the Lindens insisting on growing pointy horns on our shoulder
blades, LOL. But with this vest, he's even more satisfied with the way
the shoulder sculpts came out.
For sure, there are some very well made vests in SL, but the shoulder
designs always seem to be the greatest challenge. The K.D. really has
the best shoulders yet, Megg-thinks. Great job, boss d=^.^=b
The girls' model, btw, is not just a simple, scaled down version of the
men's vest, but has been fine-tuned to better fit the female shape.

久し振り（3ヶ月振りくらい？）に服出ました（フルﾌﾟﾘﾑだけどｗ）
メンズでは後ろ姿、形にこだわって作ることが多いんだけど今回も背中、
肩の袖口に一番こだわって作りました
ＳＬの不自然なシェイプも袖口がちゃんとあると締まって見える!!（はずｗ
もと後ろ絞りたかったんだけどね、ﾄｶﾞった肩甲骨に阻まれました

俺的にはＣかな　コーデュ好きだし。全部あわせやすい色だと思う

I loved the special edition model, but OMG this blackstar motif is soooo- kewl! And now I got a matching bracelet, too =^.^=

Note, this version is Transferable for gifting, but No Copy; and Modifiable for fitting.
